It seems that he/she has the high bid on some items i want but knowing that he/she has a habit of placing ridculous amounts of money for games has thwarted my want for Cheetahmen II and Myriad 6-in-1.

who ever it is drives a ford and bought a chip thinking it was a ECU when it clearly states in the auction its a CHIP not ECU.
who ever they are doesent seem to bright

I would not say hate that's a mega big word, i never had any real problems with people overbidding me (only Pa_nes_ian was irritating me for a while).

Maybe the collecting is gone, but amassing the high end games as an investment instead is ensuing.

I feel you guys. She has outbid me on a ton of stuff to. A few months back she did say she was getting out of collecting, so I don't know what the deal is.

I collect original comic book art in addition to video games, and there have been two collectors who collect the same artists/series as I do.
Every auction that's come up in the last two years has been won by one of the three of us. We all win our fair share, but it still drives me nuts when one of them outbids me on something I really wanted.
I've talked to one of them, and he's a really nice guy with an impressive collection. Still, it drives me nuts when I see the words "Auction has ended. You have been outbid." and his name clearly printed underneath.
