If you're at all into gaming on the Atari 8 bit computers, you should know about the SIO2PC cable made by AtariMax. Basically, you connect a cable to the SIO port on the Atari and your PC, and you can run games on your Atari right of your PC's hard drive.

I was wondering if a similar cable could be made to compensate my other classic computing hobby, classic Macs. I have a Mac Plus, which was the first (I think?) Mac to come with a SCSI port. Do you think you could run a cable from that port to a PC hard drive in order to emulate a Mac hard drive? I have an old Mac HD, but it's (understandably-considering its age and the relative newness of the concept of a hard drive itself) incredibly flaky.

Any ideas?

I don't think you'll be able to make a direct SCSI connection to your PC hard drive while it is installed in your PC. Probably the easiest method of sharing files from your PC to your Mac would be to create a small Ethernet network. The Mac Plus doesn't have built-in Ethernet, but apparently there are SCSI to Ethernet solutions available. There is more info in this article (http://lowendmac.com/network/bridge.shtml) at Low End Mac (http://lowendmac.com/). I've been looking for a way to do this with my Apple II for ages now.
