Ok, obviously there were some NES or SNES games that were only available in Japan but are there any games that the US got that Japan never got? Im curious to know

I'm pretty sure that Super Punch Out!! of all games was not released in Japan, despite the fact that some of the characters tend to be more for Japanese tastes.

Not sure if they got Secret of Evermore either.

Loads of US sports games, I'd imagine.

GTAIII and Vice City have been out in Japan for a while now. I assume San Andreas is coming, since the first two did good numbers (300-400K) The original PlayStation 1 GTA was released in Japan too (but not GTA2 or the London 1969 one).

It actually did get a japanese release, however it was an extremely late release game, appearing in japan sometime in 1998, if I recall correctly.
