I know a few people on here have rather large GameCube collections (Full sets?) but does anyone else have a massive PS2 / Xbox / GameCube collection which would blow most of ours out of the water?

I have a pretty modest collection so far. 70+ Ps2 games; 60+ GameCube; And 50+ Xbox ~ But I have a feeling other people have way loads more than that...

I'm quite curious to see what 100+ collections look like, and especially those of you who have 400+ GameCube games!!!

How large is your Ps2 / Xbox / Cube collection? (Remember to show pics!)

As of today:
453 PS2
188 Xbox
153 Gamecube

I'm planning on getting newer gameroom shots up later this week.

300 ~ 500

I don't feel like counting as I keep adding to them..
Just look in my collection link below.(I had to resort to putting any new games I buy other places as I have no more room on the shelf)

I have several duplicate games (PS2 / Xbox / Cube)in boxes in storage that I'm going to dump on Ebay one of these days..Money I can use to buy another Pocket Bike :D (These games are not in the count )

well I have over 100 sealed GC/PS2/X-box/GBA games, with maybe 6 dupes. Anyone else collect sealed current gen games?

altogether, I am probably around 150-200, but I didn't know if you wanted individually or seperate.

Apart from me you mean! Lol!

I reckon pretty much 85% of my current gen games are still sealed. Most of the PS2 ones either rares or RPG's (Or "Potential future rares" as I like to think of them)

Oh, then there's my impressive sealed PAL DC collection, which I would also consider still as "Current", and I also have varios GBA and Ngage games sealed...

Slightly over 200 and growing everyday.

More than half of that is PS2, but Cube is catching up quite quickly.

About 150 Xbox, 30 Gamecube, and 1 PS2. I don't actually own a PS2, but I figured I'd start picking up the better titles.

Theres that guy who had a near complete Gamecube collection... Can't remember his name. Its something like dbjerisof or something isn't it?
Didn't he have all the games but just needed the Demo-Discs or something? He was trying to sell the whole thing too.
As for me:
Gamecube: 3
PS2: 25
-_-

Could it be dbiersdorf? ;)

Actually, no that's not me, I used to collect GameCube's and had around 200 titles but got fed up with it and found it not worth the time or money. Now I just get games that I really want for each system (at the time I hardly ever played Xbox or PS2).

You're actually thinking of bjeong1381, I'm fairly sure he has about 450 GameCube games, with a few Japan and PAL only imports. I'm fairly sure he's about 5% away from a complete collection with just about everything aside from a few new releases, obscure titles and those darn kisok demo discs. He's the closest person on the net to getting a complete GameCube collection (I think anyways).

All I have to say to l_lamb is - DAMN!

Geez, some of you have quite impressive current gen collections. As for me:

15 Gamecube
23 GBA

I don't feel like digging up exact numbers right now, but I'm over 300 PS2 games and about 70 each for Xbox and Gamecube.

I have 334 counting imports between the three systems. I have not been buying much lately for any system due to lack of funds.

I wish I could get into the GC more, but I just can't. Can anyone suggest some titles for me?

Yea, you have the right guy. That guy has almost all of the GC games. How he can afford it I do not know.

Yikes. Do you people only buy them on sale or used, or do you pay full price? Not counting gifts, I've paid an average of $10 for each of mine. If I had 500 games that would cost $5,000. YIKES!

Of course, I actually only have 3 GC and 9 PS2 games.

Maybe it just seems extreme to me because I've only owned my GC and PS2 for 8 and 2 months, respectively. I've certainly spent more than $5k on video games in the past 5 years.

I've got just over 50 PS2 games, but I'm not really collecting them, I'm just buying the games I'm intrested in. However, there are a few titles in there that are pretty lame that I bought for the hell of it or were given to me.

Being one who has played a majority of the great titles for the GameCube check out my collection (http://users.ign.com/collection/dbiersdorf) which has about all the must have GameCube titles. I'm missing a few as well like Mega Man Anniversery Collection, the Prince of Persia's, Beach Spikers, Cubivore, Timesplitters, Star Fox Assualt, and more, which would be in my wishlist so you can see the rest.

I highly suggest anyone to get into the GameCube scene, lots of great games, mostly from Nintendo, yes, but a lot of hidden gems as well (anyone else here love Go! Go! Hypergrind?)

Sales and used, if it's a game I'm REALLY REALLY wanting I will occasionally buy it new, but wait for a price drop.

Most of my current Gen games cost me 5.00 or less each, non-DP people think I'm lying when I tell them that though. I've gotten PS2 games as cheap as .50 before. I will buy any current gen game I don't have for 5.00.

I haven't counted in a while, but I'd estimate it's somewhere around 105 PS2, 20-25 GC and 10-15 Xbox.

Who are you people with 70+ GC games? I cant even think of that many good GC games off the top of my head. I mean, maybe 40 or so but after that its all crap.

Same here, although I've probably averaged about 10.00 per game. If I want a game that costs more than 12.00, I always wait until the "get one free" sales.

Right now I have 65 PS2 games and 61 Gamecube games. Both might go down a little though, as I'm thinking about trading/selling off a few.

And yeah, it's not that big. I'm more of a gamer than a collector, so I just buy stuff I'm interested in. Off the internet, I only know one person besides myself who has over 40 Gamecube games (a friend of mine has around 70-80).

Most of the stuff I own is on the cheap. I'd say my average is somewhere around $10-$15, but I have bought quite a few for as low as $5. All of my Gamecube games have the box and manual (some are missing those white precautions manuals but I could care less about those), and all but one of my PS2 games are complete (I still need a manual for Maximo: Ghosts To Glory).

I've got 76 PS2 games, 43 GCN games, and 8 xbox games. But I only buy the games I want to play and (almost) never at full price. Plus, I only just got an xbox, so I'm still working on building that up.

97 PS2 games (with a new one added every week or two)
4 xbox (going to hit 8 as soon as I get around to buying Otogi, Otogi 2, Stranger's Wrath, and Outrun 2)
31 Gamecube games (which is unlikely to increase anytime soon)

Actually, I might hit 11 Xbox games... I want Syberia II, Deathrow and Breakdown....then i'll have pretty much every Xbox game I want/need :)

Edit - Make that 100 PS2 games and 6 Xbox. Finally got Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, Phantom Dust, and God of War :D

166 PS2, 58 Xbox, 47 GCN. Generally I pay around $5 per game and very seldom over $10. GCN gets the short end of the stick because its games maintain their value more.

Just over 300 PS2 games. The collection looks awful though, as I haven't organized any of them and shlef space has run out so they are about 3 piles ~4ft high apiece. I'll try to organize and get pictures here sometime soon. Pawn shops are usually a good way to go for next-gen games as they range in price from $3-$15.

Though the game trawl yesterday netted another 40 odd US titles... not sure if I'll get the US version of the Japanese ones I have though.

(and as you see, a lot of what I DON'T have are sports titles on the US side!)

Im around the 80 odd mark for gamecube games. Nothing too spectacular comparing to most other people but the interesting thing about mine are they are all japanese. Theres a few second hand games in there but 99% of them i paid retail price.

Mmm rows of teeny tiny gamecube boxes.

I've got 350 Ps2, 450 for XBOX, and 250 for GameCube....
Most of the things are sealed from when I worked at a video game magazine...I still know some folks in the industry who get new titles occasionally, that helps me get my collections boosted up somewhat; )

OMG! I have just had a gerat idea! I want shelves like that in my Room Of Doom when I get around to finally doing it up!

My mates already think my room is like an HMV, so why not!

Where would one get these shelves? Is it just a case of being in the right place at the right time when shops are refitting?

Thanks! I also have (well, had) my dvds and vhs faced as well which made it REALLY EASY to browse through. I'm in the middle of moving, and when I get the new room set up, everything will have to be bookended due to lack of space. It makes me sad. :bawling:

Argh. I keep wondering what I'm missing in that game. I bought it new for $10.00 because someone on these boards said it was great and was pretty rare, so I thought what the hell. Upon playing it though, all I can think is what the hell is this? Does it get better after a while?

Between Xbox and GameCube, I probably have 100-150 games... but the number should be shrinking soon (after I buy a few more at the Target clearance this weekend, perhaps :hmm: ). I almost didn't even put in my number, because I'm not actively playing the games that I have, and I'm not trying to "collect" them. I just keep obtaining games that I'm interested in until I have them all -- something I tend to do with every non-collection (read: non-Dreamcast / Jaguar) system I've ever owned. Then, as I play them, I'll generally sell them again unless I love them.

I'm only wanting to get about ten more games at the moment and then I think I'm mostly done. I'm already starting to compile what I don't want anymore to sell them off.

And whoever said the GameCube doesn't have 60 good games... I disagree completely. Although my Xbox games outnumber my GameCube games by a slim margin, I probably have around 60 GameCube games and with very few exceptions, I haven't picked myself up a dud yet. And I don't even have Resident Evil 4 or any Mario game that isn't Sunshine yet!
