Don't ya' think there's enough shows in the PA area? 8*)

PC/VGX, ECGXpo, CinciClassic, and there was rumors of another one starting in PA a little while back.

Well CinciClassic appears long dead. Maybe something else could replace it.

Untrue. I was contacted by Bill A earlier this year asking for help with Cinci. I, unfortunately, am far too busy with ECGXpo to be able to help with Cinci, but I'm pretty sure someone has jumped on board and wheels are in motion.

That is good news! I only attended Cinci once but enjoyed it's mix of stuff & people.

Yep. I attended Cinci '99. Was a mere 17 and took the Greyhound for *17* freaking hours to get there had just gotten my license and wasn't quite ready to make state to state pilgramages), but I had a blast, well worth it.

i atteneded the monvorille expo-mart antique toy show, and a small amount of vendors had classic games, i think if more of a group was put together for these shows it could get a better turn out. the show happens three times a year. 55$ a weekend for a table. and they get 2000-3000 people,

im about a hour form pittsburgh...eventhough philly is in pa its still a long way from the pittsburgh area..plus if you had something on the outskirts of pittsburgh you wouldnt have to deal with all the traffic that phiily has..the area around the south hills village mall seems to be a safe area ..and not to steal the thread but how many members live within a hour of pittsburgh..Im in morgantown wv area and its just a little over a hour to downtown pittsburgh barring roadwork

I'm in Pittsburgh but I'm movin to Canada in 4 weeks. If you wanted to do something small for trades/sales I'd suggest getting something together at the arcade in South Side. The owner is very kewl and it's a nice, quiet lil joint. It's also BYOB so you could make it a trade and play kinda thang :D

I'd advise you to post notices at The Exchange at all locations or at least Dormont, South Side, and North Hills. Those are the hottest spots for classic games IMO.

On the subject of my moving I'm selling 90% of my collection. If you locals are interested in any of my stuff maybe we can work out somethin (thread in buying and selling)...

It's about a 45-minute drive from here to Pittsburgh. I actually haven't been to Pittsburgh in years....Three RIvers Stadium was still there the last time I went to Pittsburgh... :D

Yea Bleach, I moved last Sept LOL
I try to keep an eye on the scene down there so I can attempt to plan my "family visits" just in time for some gamer action ;)

I'll be honest with you guys. I tried to get somethin goin in Pittsburgh for years. Just seems that there's really only a handfull of people who actually wanna do something (not just talk about it). I highly suggest just swappin numbers with people and get something small together at Games N'at. Even if I were still down there I just couldn't see gettin something any larger than a few people together. There just isn't enough heavy interest. Besides, if you get a few folks together that number could always grow. And at least you'd have made some local contacts and perhaps new buds :D

Yes, there is going to be another show up near Philly, I was invited to it, but I have no clue when it is.
