There are lots of gamers who hate Nintendo by the way. I'm not one of them, but i do know a few old-school Sega fans who to this day think Nintendo is over-rated. Their gamers, they just have a different choice.

I don't see it that way. From what I have heard, all the former anti-Nintndo Sega (and further back, Atari) fans are now united by rooting for Nintendo. You see, Nintendo, like Sega and Atari, all have roots from the Golden Age of video gaming. Sony and Microsoft are outsider newbies who jumped on the gaming bandwagon just to make money. Sony is also blamed for taking Sega out of the console business. I would be willing to be the Sega CEO is also rooting for its old enemy Nintendo. They want Sony taken out of video gaming once and for all. I prey it happens in the next 10 years.

Well you're half right about them. They do want to see Sony DIE! but they really are die hard sega fans and refuse to ever convert to nintendo. I beleive they actually vowed back in the days of Genesis never to own a nintendo console. Currently of the 3 of 2 have embraced the Xbox, but own no xbox games aside from Sonic Mega Collection Plus, they just emulate classics. The other one is still quite content with his Dreamcast.

Although i'd would never say they set the standard. LOL there a little too crazy for that.

I wont get it right on launch day, but buy it for Christmas. I will be putting in 250 bux and family the rest, I can only imagine getting the Core system because its going be around 349.99 Cdn which is alot just for Perfect Dark and Quake 4 but I hope it will be worth when I fire it up on the 25th of December. Sorry to bust ur bubble the core system is 399 CDN, it should be 366CDN after conversion, MS is ripping off the canadian customers, I hope you can use the Xbox memcard to transfer saves from xbox to 360. I checked the prices on xbox.com

Jesus Christ does anyone ever think anymore? This is how it's always been. You'll notice it's not fair 1-1 in any other area either. It's not like this is just with consoles either, it's like this with everything. We happen to luck out and have cheaper DVD's then the states, but we often pay more then fair exchange for things like, cd players, graphics cards, TV's.

Part of it is because $366 isn't an "attractive" price so they round it up to $399. The same thing happened to the DS and it will happen with the Revolution and PS3. That's just business.

By the way, if anyone has the canadian launch price of the original Xbox it might put things in prespective for him.

Plus, the $33 is used to cover the cost of packaging that meets Canada's bilingual requirements. Yay, Quebec. ;)

As for the European price, it's high because of the extra shipping and the PAL conversion that allows you guys to get all imported TV and movies at the wrong speed. But hey, the colors are better. ;) Yes, I know this is unnecessarily evil of me. But you try and deal with your favorites cartoons being sped-up and not becoming a little evil in the process. So chill.

Just because you haven't bought a number of games for Nintendo systems doesn't mean that others aren't buying their games. Additionally, Nintendo's making a profit on every Gamecube it sells, and I suspect that that's the same case with the SP and possibly even the DS.

So don't go bashing a company because they don't have a lot of titles that you like. Try looking at titles that should sell well instead. You'll look like less of a fanboy then. Especially when you're making unjust off-topic attacks for no reason.
