Hopefully someone can help me. Now, the email I registered for ebay.com was under AOL. Now, I've been off AOL for a while but I;m still able to login to ebay. What I wanna know is, if i win an item on ebay, am I able to message that person to tell them to email me at an alternate email, and tell them that my other email doesnt work any more? Or will the person yell at me, and demand all kinds of questions? Mind you, I don't have a credit card, so I cant re-register with a free email service like hotmail or gmail. When I won other items, I ususally bid on ones that had money order as an option.

Sorry if im stating the bleeding obvious but why not change your now-defunct AOL email on ebay to your new email? You dont have a credit card, but you must have an ISP so why not put your ISP email address on there?

Failing that, you can email through ebays new messaging system.. just click their username when your on ebay.. and log in.. and fill out message and click send..

eBay will not let you change your email without a credit card number..

I have the EXACT same problem.. Previous AOL account.. etc. And all I do is message the seller, and explain my situation.. and they've never complained.
