Make what you will of this.
Personally I would love to hear opinions without interjecting any of mine at the moment.

Realy I don't know what to make of it....I do guess I could say the draemcast was launched well, but Sega didn't do a very good job historiacally marketing there systems in my opinon. Sega didn't make it in the hardware buisness...Yes, This man has experience, but I'd have to say that the outcome of his former work was not the desired result. Considering that the XBOX has not done very well in Europe nor Japan, I guess there's not much to risk by giving this man another shot.

Actually, it wasn't Peter Moore that headed the Dreamcast in the largest launch in history (well, until the PS2 came out). It was Bernie Stolar. Peter Moore seemed like more of an "interim" president. He tried to hold the status quo. I personally consider him to be highly overrated, although he does have a history of making popular marketing ploys.
