WTB: Dreamcast VMU

I'm looking for the Dreamcast Visual Memory Unit. Two or three would be good. But, I don't want to pay more than $5 for one. Because that's what EBgames charges. Does anyone have a VMU for cheap.

I'm not flaming your post, but if you can get "decent" VMU's for $5 at EBgames, I'd buy a ton of them.

Yeah. VMUs are typically $7-8, even online. Go get those VMUs at EBGames.

I've new and used ones, but shipping from Canada kind of messes things up as Drummy found.

If you can get them instore at EB, then that's your best bet. I think stores like Gamestop, etc also have them from time to time.

If you have to get them online from EB, then shipping will probably factor in. I think its one of the items in their 15 for $50 deal, so you could conceivably get them as low as $3.50 each. If you wanted that many...

I just got two official white sega ones (without end caps) loose for less than $2 a couple days ago. It was at EBGames too.

I've got hundreds at $5.00 they just sit there. I think we sold one this year and that was this week as a matter of fact.

I myself only sell d-direct LE VMU from time to time - i.e. Leopard skin, carmouflage, dolphine, strawberry and etc. - when I get duplicate...

I do have official sealed JPN pink, clear crystal VMU but those aren't for sale... :D

Well if you can get VMU's for $1, I can't see why anyone wouldn't buy absolutely everyone of those and kee them for future trades (other than the fact that we as collectors like to spread the wealth to our fellow collectors). I've never seen VMU's for a dollar, well maybe if they didn't work, actually the irony is that the battery would cost more than the VMU.

I have a BUNCH for the GOAT Store right now, but they aren't up because they are waiting to be recounted for inventory. Something around 15 white ones and 15 of various colors.

I have bought at least 15 to 20 VMU's for no more than $2 each. $5 is kinda rich IMO. Shouldn't be that hard for you to find some in your price range. Although your not getting any of mine...lol.. best of luck.

dj898 those are some sweet VMU's, very sweet and if anybody sees those for a dollar I'm in (lol). It's kinda funny how this poor bastard was looking for VMU's and a flurry of discussion ensued. I'll tell you what, I'll give you one for nothing if you want to pay shipping (which ironically would be about $5).

I've been on hunting for factory sealed VMU for ages an so far snapped pink and clear VMU complete with end cap an factory sealed... Would go nice with my pink and clear pads... :D

Don't think they released pink and clear ones in US?
Been looking for orange one as well but was told it was one of prototype colour and never used in production one - but then someone told me there never was pink VMU till I stumbled across on while I was in Osaka... Same story as I was under impression that clear VMU was only issued with Seaman but apparently they did make some as a separate part with the end cap...

so you never know...

Clear (actually a bit smoky) was released in the US. I have one, and was told they gave them away during a promotion at PacBell for WS2k1.

Is Seaman the most expensive JAP VMU? The LE Dreamcast gear prices over there are nuts.

no you can pick up seaman clear VMU minus end cap - never came with one to start with - for 500+ yen...
