Am I the only one who was a fan of these games?

I loved the first two. I remember playing the hell out of them, especially 2, when they first came out.

I just found out today that Jet Moto 3 was released for the PS1. The big ol' 989 logo on the front scared me, though.

Why hasn't this series been transferred over to the PS2? Any chances of it hitting the PSP? Did the games not sell too well, or is it just one of those series that didn't make the leap onto the next gen consoles?

Man your bringing back some memories to me, I used to play the Jet Moto series all the time. I guess the series just kinda faded out. :(

I have been thinking the same thing lately, I loved Jet Moto 2, and I think that a new Jet Moto game for the new systems would be really cool.

i'm surprised that they haven't. I mean they made Twisted Metal black, why not an update of Jetmoto.

Man, I remember playing Jet Moto at my friends house years ago. Those games were so fun! It seems so long ago from now, that I can't even remember when it looked like...

I think it was on ps2 as Jet X2O. I remember that i had a demo of this game and it looked like Jet Moto

I'd kill for a Jet Moto update on the PSP. Hell, I'd kill for a straight-up port of Jet Moto 2 for the PSP. Jet Moto 2 was undoubtedly the highlight of the series because:
1) Jet Moto 3 was a tad lame
2) Jet Moto 1 was the shit
3) Jet Moto 2 included all the tracks from Jet Moto 1

Right on. I knew there was some sort of spiritual successor released, but couldn't think of the name while reading this thread and it was driving me crazy.

The only one I played was Jet Moto 2 and I remember it being fun, if a tad hard (especially discovering/reaching hidden areas on the tracks).

My friend had Jet Moto 2 and we used to play the hell out of it! Definately a great hover bike something or other, futuristic racer!

Jet X20 has virtually no connection to the Jet Moto series, perhaps save for the fact that it was a SCEA release. Jet X20 is a purely watercraft-based racer (ala WaveRace), whereas Jet Moto entailed futuristic hovercraft-type vehicles with crazy-ass land/sea/city/etc. tracks. Not to mention an entirely different sense of handling and general course design. Definitely not a spiritual successor to the Jet Moto series.
