To bad Konami's list is so pathetic. :/

I will believe it when I see it.

If it comes out, cool. If not, no matter, we have NeoGeo Battle Coliseum and FIST OF THE NORTH STAR. I want a home release of Fist of the North Star to happen badly.

That would rule. I was a huge fan of Last Battle for Genesis, though everyone hated it. I would love a sequel to that game, in the same style as the Genny one, but without the meaningless banter, and extreme difficulty level. I only beat that game legitimately once...what a bitch that game is.

I hope this is true. Makes me wonder how it will turn out and which systems may get it.

There's a 3D remake of Last Battle in the Sega Ages PS2 series, Japan only. Dunno how good it is though.

This new one is a 1 on 1 fighter from the makers of Guilty Gear, and it looks as pretty as Guilty Gear so far. So damn I'm hoping it gets a PS2 release.

But will it be animated as horribly as Guilty Gear?

And I'm hoping for a Xbox or X360 release with online play far before a PS2 release.

And that's for any fighter.

Actually no matter what they do with it the animation would still be better than the original show.

I've heard a few things about SF4 over at Shoryuken and other places. The thing I can't get around is that Ryu is the only returning SF character. That means Chun Li won't be in it. So, there's no reason to play it. :P

That really sucks. That means there will probably be a measly 15 or so characters to chose from, and because Capcom lacks the talent to make 15 original characters 14 of them will be pallate swaps. Bring everyone back I say... make it Street Fighter Alpha I say... Skip the story and focus on allowing long time fans who have waited for what feels like forever I say...

Use every character the universe has seen, add some new, beef up the graphics, and allow me to run... and I'll be interested.

If thats true, that only Ruy will be included its not really a new street fighter game imo. Same goes for that new Final Fight game. None of the original caracher is going to be included if I remember right.

Anybody remember when they scraped all the original cast from SF3? Five bucks says within 6 months of release we see SF4: 2nd Faster Iteration with at least four of the original characters.

Wow. Street Fighter 4(million).

I can hardly wait. (note the sarcasm)

The only game on that list that I'd like to play would be Sega's new version of After Burner.

Druaga Online? X_x

Agreed. Wonder how it'll work. I mean, what arcade is going to pay for online access for just 1 game?

Mario Kart in the arcade? So many arcade racing games are darn near impossible; it is strange to think of Mario Kart among them.

Yep, SUPER Street Fighter 4 Enhanced Ultra Turbo Edition with Almonds will have "Because you demanded it: Chun Li, Ken, and Akuma!" ...lifted directly from SF3, sprites, sounds and all.

SUPER Street Fighter 4 Enhanced Ultra Turbo Edition with Almonds

Of course! With ALMONDS! Brilliant! This is surely the element that will revitalize this stagnating genre once and for all! :D Have some Meesta.

Regarding SF4, I also heard that it will be a-la SF-EX+Alpha, rendered characters in rendered "2D" stages... I'd love to see it done like SF3, the perfect fighting engine with the best character animations.

Not all of those games mentioned will be released inUSA, Sega has not confirmed anything about their games getting here, but Namco already confirmed Space Adventure Cobra (a favorite of mine). All Tekken 5 are 5.1 by the time you read this, thankfully Steve is not broken anymore and Heihachi is not banned and is "more balanced", a 5.2 revision is mentioned but that will be until Tekken6 is released. Nina is toned down in the 5.1 revision but thankfully not that much. :)

the fist of the north star, sega ages, is supposed to be kind of "meh". it includes the original japanese version of what we knew as "black belt", though.

I'm interested in the new Fist Of The North Star game, and praying that Street Figher 4 will become a reality.

Around where I live, no arcade would actually buy it. I've never seen a Neo Geo MVS after 1996, or a Capcom Vs SNK cabinet...

At my place.

But seriously, who cares?

Street Fighter > Samurai Shodown

Wooooooo

Arcades still exist, especially in big cities.

Street Fighter > Samurai Shodown

For the earlier games, I'd agree. For the more recent ones, I'd take Samurai Shodown V over any of the Street Fighter related games from the last 5-7 years (with exception of Third Strike, obviously).
