Looking at the Online Rarity Guide, Bounty Bob Strikes Back was released for the Atari 5200 and Atari XE only in the US. I see no mention of it having any PAL releases or released elsewhere.
Anyone know if it was released overseas? And any information on its rarity if it was?

Well, it came out in Canada too I'm pretty sure but that's essentially the same market as the US. I have never heard of a PAL release of it.

Yes the Canada and U.S. release I'm pretty sure of since those would be considered NTSC format. The NTSC format is listed in the online rarity guide, or rather, as the guide puts it "U.S. Releases" but this carries over to Canada as well.
The reason I am asking is because I bought a complete copy for the Atari XE from the UK. And there is no mention of there being a PAL release. Furthermore, after even further research on AtariAge.com, it appears there is no difference in the PAL and NTSC release as far as being able to play them on their respective system. They are interchangable, so I would be able to play a "PAL" Bounty Bob Strikes Back (if it exists) for the Atari XE on the "NTSC" Atari XE system.
At least I believe this to be true.

It was licensed to US Gold in Great Britain for the European/PAL Atari and Commodore 64. Cassette only on PAL, any carts you've seen have been brought over from the US. Since tapes aren't listed in the guide, no entry exists.

I guess you're spidey300 on ebay then?
You know that seller of the two Bomb carts picked up a couple dead bomb carts only a month or so before. They were sold to you untested, but likely won't work once you get them in.
And as far as compatibility goes on PAL/NTSC, most of the carts are compatible, but tape/disk software is not. Some of it is, but not all.

Yes I'm spidey300 on eBay. I didn't pay him last night after he invoiced me. This morning an eBayer (possibly a member on AtariAge or DP) let me know about him having picked up the carts dead from Germany. I started a thread about this in Everything eBay.
But he won't be getting my money that's for sure. I wish I had read that thread prior to yesterday. I emailed the seller this morning and told him I had been tipped off about him having bought them "dead" and that I did not appreciate his deceit in trying to unload them as possibly working when he knew well they never did.
