Some of us Llamasofties already knew, and some of us were pretty sure on our suspicions and guesses. Anyhows... the announcement was going to be Friday but seeing as the subscriber issues of Edge (UK gaming mag) this month have hit the mat today (and it features Yak and what he's up to) then obviously things are forward three days ;)
So... Jeff's new project will be on the Gamecube (about the industry's worst kept secret :D ) under the auspices of Peter Molyneux's Lionhead studios. It is pre-emptively called "Unity" at this moment in time. Expect something colourful and most likely fluffy sometime in the future :)

To find out more (the site should calm down soon... it's currently under complete siege traffic wise!)...

i have a question. What ever became of Minter's Tempest 3000 project for Nuon? Was that ever finished, or did it just become vaporware?
It's great to see an original voice like Minter back in the fold. Maybe one day we'll see the Jeff Minter Anthology on Playstation, eh?

Tempest 3000 or T3K as it is known is widely available to buy. A quick search in Amazon should reveal it. It a mega game... one of his best I would say...
