A feature that I'd really like to see in the online rarity guide would be for certain games to better associated with certain pieces of hardware. This kind of thing is already in place to an extent but I'd like to see it taken beyond what's already in place.
Lots of game database entries have a section called "Special Peripherals" where they list compatible pieces of hardware. I'd like it if the database would make it simpler to see which games take specific advantage of or require different peripherals like the Genesis Mega Mouse, the PlayStation's GunCon, the NES Zapper, The Super Game Boy, The Atari 2600 driving controller, the Master System 3-D glasses, and so forth.
The way I'd like to see this kind of thing incorporated would be to have a line in the database entries for these peripherals that says "click here to show all games that work with this peripheral" or something to that effect and then have a link that will list the database entries for all the respective games.
