With Zelda being delayed until next year, this fall is going to be all racing games for me.
Provided they don't suck (and it doesn't look like they will), I'll probably get:
-Burnout Revenge
-Need For Speed: Most Wanted (NFS is to me what Madden is to football fans)
-Midway Arcade Treasures 3 (I don't have Hydro Thunder or Super Off-Road for any of my consoles... gotta remedy that. On another note, this is the first MAT I'll actually pay the full $20 for, I paid $10 each for the other two).
I'm also thinking about LA Rush, but I'll probably wait for a price drop on that one.
What about you?

I don't really plan on buying racing games. It just sort of happens.

I'm still working on GT:3 and NFS: HP2.

Jesus, too many good games coming out.
and I just picked up Gadget Racers today since ChoroQ has gotten me addicted to the series. Probably just going to go in reverse though (ChoroQ -> Road Trip -> Gadget Racers). Mmmmmmm
Don't think i'll be able to hold out very long against Midway Arcade Treasures 3, though :(

I choose the first 5 answers...
I buy assloads of racing games. It's the first genre that I ever played. I always find racers and dungeon crawlers to be the best bang for the buck since you can literally play them until you tire of them.
Right now I'm playing SRS, SSX Tricky, Rallisport 2, Gotham 2 and have taken a break from Forza since it gets intense near the end.

BURN. OUT. REVENGE.
Ability to use Crashbreaker during race = reason to drop $50 on this one too. This one looks like it could possibly top Burnout 3, one of the best games of this console generation.

Yup. I'm in the same boat as you. Though I prolly won't get them all, but that's what I'd like.

For Rush 2049 alone, I'll be picking up that Midway's Greatest Hits 3 pack.
I want to embrace LA Rush, I really do... but it looks like nothing except big air and the Rush name will be the same about it. Give me a new Rush with coins to collect and super-imaginitive racetracks and I'm on board. Try to make it Project Gotham Racing, and I'm...
Eh.

Meh... I probably won't end up buying any of them. I've sort of drifted away from the racing genre. Although Need For Speed: Most Wanted seems pretty freaking good. I just might have to buy it.

I think burnout and midway 3 are the only too racers I'm going to bother with. I'm still working on Gt4 and burnout 3 though.

I'll get Project Gotham Racing 3 on the Xbox 360 as long as the animation is 60 FPS like the first game.

Burnout Revenge looks decent, but I probably will wait until it's $20. Ditto for NFS:Rivals. But at least NFSU2 might finally go down to $20 when that comes out. Ha ha. And MAT3 gives me a raging hard-on.
Street Racing Syndicate is coming to GBA (I think DSI is doing that one), and I'm a whore for GBA 3D, so yeah.
Also, there are highly unconfirmed rumors floating around that Outrun 2 SP is in the works for one of the XBoxes. That had better be true.
And for the love of god, Sega, get working on this before it turns into Sega Rally 2006.

Cant wait for LA rush I've always loved the rush series with a passion. Hopfully this wont let me down.
I'll also get Midways Treasures 3 for more rush goodness.
And burnout Revenge. Loved the 3rd in the series so I'll adventually get the 4th.

Well, I preordered LA Rush at EB on Sunday, since Midway Arcade Treasures 3 is included as a bonus (Midway preorder bonuses kick ass). Since I was going to pay $20 for MAT3 anyways, I'm only paying $30 for Rush. This means I'll have to wait until October 10th to play MAT3, but that's no biggie for me.
I'm not going to Burnout Revenge right away, but I do plan on getting it next month when I'll have more money to burn (hopefully by then, some store will have it on sale for $40 or so).
Street Racing Syndicate on the GBA sounds tempting too. I'll consider it if it's a decent game. DSI is also releasing a GBA version of Ford Racing 3, but it'll have a password save. Lame.
And for the love of god, Sega, get working on this before it turns into Sega Rally 2006.

It's already happened. Fortunately, it's supposed to be released in January. More on Gamespot:

I'm sort of torn over those, too. DSI is responsible for those recent crummy GBA arcade collections (Gauntlet/Rampart, Paperboy/Rampage, etc.), and also Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed for GBA, with broken physics that make wall-riding/bouncing pretty much the only way to win. But on the other hand, I believe they did the GBA version of Smashing Drive, didn't they? That's honestly one of the most accurate ports of a 3D game to the GBA that I've ever seen. Hopefully SRS turns out decent. And they're doing a DS version of Ford Racing 3, so I'll probably be all over that.

That's good to hear. I was worried they'd botch up the translation of these more recent games. They probably decided to go with straight porting, instead of emulation this time, which is probably for the better. MAT2 didn't exactly run Hard Drivin' beautifully. Heh.

This is the first time i have wanted to buy a newly released game since like, 1994.
But an Xbox comes first.
And also Outrun 2.

I'll definately be getting MAT 3 that's for sure! I can't wait for all those great arcade driving games!
I hope to be getting LA Rush. I just hope this new style of play works, as well as the new type of cars.
It looks like Midway is making it like a NFSU or something, this game maybe to thuged out for me? LOL
