This week's episode of "Mind of Mencia" mentioned the N64 issue from an earlier episode. (Where the N64 was destoried)

I'd like to know, how many e-mails were sent to complain about that to get Carlos to even talk about once again. I found it pretty funny

What exactly did he say? I just turned it on now.

Originally he said this "This is an Nintendo 64, if you send one of these to a poor kid in Honduras you're a retard!"

and tonight ....

he said this "I cant believe how many nerds sent me e-mails about this, their all in their star wars underwear freakin out! So we sent a kid in Honduras an Nintendo 64...let's see what he has to say"

*Kids in Honduras* Oh boy! a package from carlos mencia! A nintendo 64? Screw you Carlos Mencia!"

Ah, but you guys are getting ahead of yourselves...you forgot that Mind of Mencia is, by and large, a piece of shit. One psuedo-controversial Mexican does not replace the overquoted but still great Chappelle's Show. Same with DL Hughley's new show, though Adam Corolla's is shaping up to be watchable.

That is true, Mencia and DL Hughley's shows seem to be cheap imitations of Chapelle's Show. It would seem Comedy Central realised they needed something to fill it's void. DL Hughley even admitted his show was a rip-off by saying something along the lines of "See, I'm not the only black comedian with a show on TV". Mencia's show is tolerable but that N64 segment really hit home. Almost everytime I walk into Gamestop I see little kids saying "N64 sucks, blah blah" Adam Corolla's show suprised me. It was the first show in AGES that made me laugh while it was on as a background noise. That "send the Israelites to Baja" bit was gold.

I think DL's show is pretty funny. Don't really like Mencia though, and Adam's rants were funnier when they were on Loveline.

Although I'd watch Adam every night if he did a dance to that weird jazz-disco song he sings along with on Loveline.

When I was younger I didn't appreciate the N64 as much as it deserved. I do more nowadays though.

Damn, are kids that easily influenced? Heh, this could actually be a good thing....maybe all these kids will start dumping off their N64's for cheap at garage sales, meaning more cheap N64 games for me, haha! :D

He had a comedy special on CC a few years ago that was actually pretty good...

Not sure what happened to him between then and now though. LOL

It appears that his "thing" now is trying be as mean-spirited as possible, which I don't really care for.

If they are that easily influenced, they might start breaking all their N64 stuff with a hammer! :eek 2:

I don't find it to be as mean-spirited as it is simply milking the fake sort of controversy he's always talking about (and what they always stress in the promos). Basically he just makes racial jokes for half an hour in hopes that someone will view him as the next Lenny Bruce, Bill Hicks, Doug Stanhope, David Cross or any other truly groundbreaking and original comedian. Sorry bud, you're shit.

It is good to finally see Adam Carolla get some more jobs, he deserves it.

Doug Stanhope?? Original???? You gotta be kidding me. Menicas show is a one trick pony for sure, but I did have a laugh about the n64, its been used by more than a few friends as a doorstop (and no we arent fans of the system)

If you watch the show, everytime he says something racist he goes "What, What?" while shrugging and throwing up his hands as if everyone was booing him... When, infact, everyone is cheering, strange enough as it is.

I've hated Mencia since I saw him on Comedy Central Presents... His act was terrible.

He's trying to be Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle... Wanna-be-douche-bag-idiot. I can't wait till they cancell him.

D.L. Hughley's Show isn't Terrible... Not really anything great.

I hope Adam Carolla's show picks up a bit, loved the Man Show... His last show was terrible, though. I could feel how uncomfortable he was as joke after joke bombed. Well, better luck next show hopefully.

Doug Stanhope?? Original????

Not taking into consideration his brief run as co-host of the man show, but rather his excellent standup albums, he's a funny bastard. Maybe not the most original, but he hits the right notes well enough.

Doug Stanhope > Carlos Mencia and DL Hughley. Sorry had to say it, the man has got great timing.

Mencia blows...he always gets loud when he's about to make a point as if he's some kind of authority and knows what he's talking about. In reality, it just looks like he's angry (and his words mean, but not funny), which turns me off from the whole show. Being mean is ok when it is genuinely funny, but he isn't, leaving me scrathing my head. CC has had a really tough time trying to cover where Chapelle left off and it REALLY shows.

Man, if Chapelle ever comes back from Africa, they should do a CC roast of him.

I watched Mencia once, and it was the time when they destroyed the n64. The funny thing was that the 64 they smashed actually looked like it was in pretty good shape. They could have at least used one that didn't work or something like that.

He's been back for a long time now actually. I don't think he wants to work with CC ever again either, which is too bad.

Ahhh, ok. I heard just last week that whe was still there. That's cool. It's a real bitch that we may never see the half of season 3 that they filmed.
