FF VIII Gameshark Question

I always make 2 saves on games. 1 with gameshark and 1 without. In my FF VIII Gameshark save, on the part where you play as the 3 soldier-type guys and you're in the cave, right before you bungee jump, I always die. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

You're talking about the place where you go through the green tube type areas, then are on a cliffside?

The last battle at the cliff you're supposed to lose as part of the storyline. When the enemies start using super attacks that kill you or bring you to near-death status, that's when you're meant to lose. Of course, using a Gameshark will create a problem with this.

Oh, I see. It's just that when I used the gameshark, when I died, it would always give me the game over screen. Is there a way to avoid that?
