I stumbled across these 3 today, and I have to say, I don't understand why there is a screen on the controller. Maybe so you can take it into the bog and continue playing?

Yeah, I don't get it either. They are completely useless!

What's so strange about this? It's got a bigger screen than a Game Boy Advance and you get to use a GameCube controller!

The strangest controller I have ever seen is the three-foot-wide Steel Battallion controller.

Well. Why would you need a screen on your controller, when the TV is right in front of you?

Ha!

It's so you can use your GameCube "portably"... haven't you seen these TFT displays? Kinda started with the little PSOne monitor but now you can get them for just about every system. In other words, this is for travel, when you don't HAVE a TV to plug it into.

I got to try one of those things out and they are as cheap as can be. It felt like the screen was about to break off. It's a neat idea, but I think it's more of a novelty than anything. Try playing a text-heavy game on that thing!

But then why would you need one for the Xbox? Hardly portable is it?

Why not? Get the carrying case, you never even need to take the console out of it. Get the monitor, you don't need a TV. All you need now is power, baby!

With XBox, you need the power of a nuclear reactor! It'd go through batteries like they're made of water. :P

And I'm still waiting for a 5" add on screen for GBA. There already a device that lets you output the GBA screen to TV or monitor so I just need a battery powered monitor that clips on.
