The first three versions of Nintendogs haven't even been released yet, and it appears that a fourth version is already being made, according to the ESRB. They just recently gave an 'E' rating to a game entitled: 'Nintendogs - Holiday Edition'.
While Nintendo hasn't officially come out and said anything yet, chances are that this is for real.
Very Nice.. I hope it turns into a collectors item

Agreed. I loved my Christmas Nights.
Hopefully it'll be a nice promotional deal, and not a system pack in or anything.

Perhaps it'll be another registration bonus on Nintendo.com, like the Zelda and Metroid discs.

Can we smell what Nintendo's cooking?
It seems like what they'll do with Nintendog series is exactly what they did with Pokemon, sequals after sequals, extracting as much cash as possible out of gamers' pocket books, but hey, if people are willing to buy, so be it.

I can see Nintendo releasing at least 20 versions of this game, yeah, I want baby Malamut, Samoyed, Bull Terrier, and Weimaraner.

Nintendo's at it again. Not content with 3 versions of the same game already, they are already making more. If the xmas version is cheap, available on Nintendo's website as a bonus or on the front of a magazine then it would be good. However, full price it is another appalling cash-in.
