Ok, this pic is from July 14th, but I just found my camera connector so I thought I'd share the cake my girlfriend made me. And yes, it was delicious :D

I wish I could send you an audio clip of the laugh I emitted when I saw the picture! That is the greatest cake I'd ever seen! It must've been a shame to eat such a work of art! I would've rolled up the plates and forks and party hats with it. LMAO

She made it from scratch too! You wouldn't believe how much buttercreme frosting was on it.

Damn. That cake looks insanely delicious. I just want to roll it through oreo crumbs and sprinkles and other stuff you'd put on ice cream or cake...then just getting a chunk of it and shoving it in my mouth. Man that would be so good. I want to eat cake now. Thanks a lot. :-P

I saw an ad for the Betty Crocker Bake-n-Fill pan and if you order it it comes with a free dome pan that's a perfectly round hemisphere and I realized that it would make the PERFECT Katamari cake. I also realized that it would be even cooler if you bought an assortment of plastic cake toppers and other small toys and placed them randomly around the cake to look like your Katamari cake actually rolled up items.
I hope your girlfriend realizes that she has caused a culinary trend among gamers. Katamari cakes are going to be baked all around the world now. And people will probably make mushroom, ? block, golden ring, master sword, heart container, or any other easily recognizable item from a video game shaped cakes.
I realized a Pac-Man cake would be the easiest cake to ever make. And you get to eat a slice in the process of making it LOL
