Anyone interested in a Video Game Cake baking contest?

Looking at the post about the katimari Cake made me think. i've seen other great video game related cakes in my life.

Like the fabulous Mario Cake that SamuraiSmurfette made for a friend of ours last summer.

I guess what i'm getting at is there is potential for some really great creative cakes. what do you think?

Ok why don't we have this contest and people can send me the cakes they make.

I think that would be kind of cool. I think if you used some sort of video-game related cake pan it should be considered cheating though.

I had a Garfield shaped pan as a kid, but no video game pans. My GF also made me a coke bottle cake last year. Kinda funny and I can post pix if people are interested, Im just too lazy to go and host it right now.

This would be fun to do.

my fantasy cake is: i whould bake a lemon cake, put red food coloring in the frosting, and do a maximum carnage tribute.

Haoie, i'm gussing by you pointing out that other cake that you didn't read my post.


I'm thinking it would take place after CGE, not to take thunder from another wonderful contest going on.

I will silently plan for now, i have to think of prizes fitting of a bake off.

i will keep those hopefully interested updated.
