Holy crap, I can't imagine a gamecrazy w/ burning rangers in it. Are the employees stupid or something, how could they pass that up when there was a 3 for $5 each sale 2 months back.
Anyway, the fact that your growlanser was tained by eb's crappy stickers makes up for the other game store's ignorance LOL

Here is what arrived today from japangamestock.com ($39 for all 4):
http://img398.imageshack.us/img398/2917/picture2149qn.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
FF4 EasyType - I now have all 5 SFC FF games, though this one is the only loose one. Alternate Zeromus rules on the big screen TV!
Estpolis II (Lufia II) - Playing through the Japanese version sounded like fun...
Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius - Finally have all 3 SFC Parodius games once again! Be sure to check out my FAQ for all 3 versions (SFC, PSX, Saturn) of the game!
Ganbare Goemon 2 - Awesome. Playing stage 1 of Xexex at the Amusement Center rules!

Well...I had a MUCH better trip than the bad experience from yesterday:
Gamezone
Genesis - Batman: Video Game (loose) - free
Got that and 3 bucks back after returning Scooby Doo which was an accidental dupe. I was happy with Batman...tough to find and it's ALWAYS in horrible condition when I find it. Missing the manual for it though.
Then I headed out to Mesa and grabbed some good stuff:
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/hellvin/08200021.jpg
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/hellvin/08200011.jpg
Genesis - California Games (complete) - 3
Genesis - Risky Woods (complete) - 5
Genesis - World Heroes (complete) - 3
PC - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows Of Amn (complete) - 10
PC - Fallout 1 (complete) - 8
PC - Police Quest I: Pursuit of Death Angel EGA & VGA - 3
The police quest had some other random shit in it like Quicken...heh...
Well, I'm happy ;D.

Burning Rangers - Saturn - $15.00 :-P
Btw, good find on that burning rangers! Those gamecrazy people must indeed be crazy cause a while back I found a complete Guardian Heroes for 9.99 =\. How is it that someone 45 miles away in Glendale snatched it up in Mesa before anyone else? Crazy I tell ya.

Got my second copy of Devil World today. I also got a SNES and a gameboy with carrying case.
The lady who had the gameboy said that if I bought it, she would give me an old Nintendo beach ball :-P. Man, it's so cool , it says "Easy to bring along, hard to put down" and then there are some pictures of tetris and other games on the sides.

Got a bunch of stuff yesterday in a rather unusual situation involving a kid who just got kicked out of his house and was running away to Vermont with his girlfriend. Most of this stuff is in so-so condition, but it all works!
NES Games
Dr. Mario
The Little Mermaid
Mega Man
TMNT III: Manhattan Project
Zelda (Grey cart)
Back to the Future
Jurassic Park (with the manual!)
Yo! Noid
Simpsions: Bart Vs. The Space Mutants
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
World Class Track Meet
SNES Games
Tetris Attack (with the manual!)
Yoshi's Safari
Super Return of the Jedi
Kirby Super Star (with the manual!)
Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare
Super Game Boy (with the manual!)
All of the above was procured for $20. The kid had soooo much more to sell too, like a Game Gear that I wanted BADLY, alas I didn't have any more cash on me.

I've been rummaging through Play.com and Amazon's bargains, recently. This is the first batch of four I'm expecting. Harvest Moon and Super Street Fighter II (which utterly rocks!) were £14.99 each, while Crash Nitro Kart was £9.99. Beyond Good & Evil, Serious Sam and Transformers were £9.99.
I also picked up the latest issues of PC Gamer yesterday, and PSM2 today - which I only bought for their "first verdict" on Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (yes, it will rock).
http://photos32.flickr.com/35861946_d35b2b3bb9_o.jpg
I went to the car boot sale today, following a couple of weeks of missing out thanks to rain and a circus. I only spent a couple of quid and got... Colonization (complete, mint), Return to Zork (complete, box is missing top flap), Sam & Max (missing game, otherwise complete), Broken Sword (White Label release, mint) and Grim Fandango (complete, tatty box). I also got a Sonic binder (not pictured), but I'm probably going to throw it.

Don't get me wrong - I would normally keep it. But it doesn't work and the inside is covered in stickers and drawings. It was free, so no harm done.

Today I scored me Final Fantasy 2 with the Nintendo Power for $34 Canadian. They wanted $45 for it, but I didn't want to spend that much, got them down to 34. More than I wanted to spend, but whatever. Box and manual have seem better days, but the game works fine and thats what I care about the most.
Stunt Kids and Zombie Nation were $3 each, hurrah!

All the Genesis stuff was for $10. There were two controllers, but neither worked. I took them apart, and cleaned them in hopes of helping, but no... it didn't. Most of the games suck and/or are in shit condition, but they work (battery is dead in Master of Monsters, but the game is terrible anyway so meh). The system was cached inside and out with dust, dirt, and hair, but I spent an hour cleaning it up. I felt it was worth it especially since it's one of those "high definition graphics" early model 1's that don't have that boot up screen. As for the other finds:
Karnov's Revenge - $2
Duck Tales - $2
Crazy Taxi - $2
Xexyz

EDIT: Whoops, double post.
Double EDIT: $30 for Master of Monsters? Why would there be a demand for this game?!

I got a SNES multitap for 2 bucks.
That's it, everyone else wanted to charge out the ass. I'd ask, "How much?" "$5 each"
No matter who I went to, they wanted 5 bucks per game. Screw that.

Sensible Soccer
Sonic 1
Sonic 2
Tatsujin (Japanese import)
Thunderforce IV
Vectorman
and in the games which had no manuals I found the manuals for Ecco The Dolphin and Gran Turismo 2. I was dissapointed that the Eternal Champions had no manual as another store a few down was selling it also, I guess I got too lazy to check by then. Everything averaged out a pound each (i also got some records and dvds so don't quite know). Was pleased with the SF3 and also surprised at seeing some MegaDrive imports. I passed up on a couple of PSones for only 3 quid each and also on a Master System convertor and loads more MegaDrive games. Almost got a PS2 for £6 boxed, I asked the girl if it worked fine, she said yes, opened the box and inside was an old grey PSX, she seemed as suprised as I did at the different box, oh well.

Nothing too special, but I got a decent deal to say the least.
Nice find on the Splatterhouse 2. Probably one of my favorite genesis titles, even out of 450 to choose from atm. Master of Monsters is such a crappy strategy game but I guess it's kinda rare. I was lucky enough to BIN a mint compelte copy for 9.99. I usually saw it being bid up to 30-45 which was rediculous.

Didn't see a seperate thread anywhere for CGE finds, so I guess I'll be the first to post my meager haul.
http://img372.imageshack.us/img372/225/10005765qr.jpg
MD/J Herzog Zwei, Magical Hat Flying Turbo Adventure
PS1/J Street Fighter Alpha 3
Saturn/J Macross DYRL
Famicom "Jesus"...(had to have this one just for the name!)
SNES Uniracers and Pac-in-Time (Uniracers has no manual -- drat!)
Genesis Dracula, Jurassic Park, Last Battle, NBA Jam TE, Taz Escape From Mars...
The last set was 'cause I figured I'd pay the guy back for my cohorts playing Metal Slug 2 on one of his demo systems for like an hour. =P
Anyone happen to see the guy with the sombrero the first day? I was the guy in the commie shirt with him. :) Good times had by all...
By the end I had decided that I NEED a PC Engine...unfortunatly the cheapest one I saw was a Duo with a non-working CD drive for $55...I wanted one of those tricked out Duo-Rs the guy in the back had, but I was long out of money by this point. :(

decided to stop by the goodwill again on my way to get my hair cut, and what did I find but...
- Around 8 old common NES manuals (Kung Fu, TMNT, Dr. Mario, SMB/DH, Bases Loaded, etc.)
- One PS1 controller for 1.99. Didnt really need it, but for a couple bucks ya cant pass it up.
Thats all, overall a "not-so-good" week for meh :/

i guess i'll also post my cge finds here
http://img387.imageshack.us/img387/1602/img22965pp.jpg
the first day while i was walking around i spotted this and had to have it because i'm a castlevania freak and this is one of the ones i dont have and isnt out of my wanting to pay for range.
Did i mention i got it at the DP booth?
http://img387.imageshack.us/img387/5984/img22948oz.jpg
i decided to pick up some japanese games from on eof the booths that had a bunch of mario type figure bottlecaps that my friend kept obsessing about but wasn't willing to pay $5 for (the aforementioned guy in the sombrero)
http://img399.imageshack.us/img399/3289/img22957li.jpg
yeah i know i know those games arent really anything special but its cool to me because they are the first atari games i've ever owned since my friend gave me and atari 2600 Jr and i bought some wires for it. the wires were a bit overpriced but i'm happy with it.
http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/1239/img22938vj.jpg
so yeah i went into the trade room this morning before it officially opened and there was a guy setting up and he decided to give away a sports genesis game with every purchase so i made some sort of joke about buying one game and talking them all so he said if i bought 2 i could have them. $10 later i have too damn many sports games.
I'm such a tool.
http://img370.imageshack.us/img370/9350/img22978fd.jpg
I especially enjoyed the music by 8 Bit weapon so i decided to drop a $20 to get both their cds
and of course i had to save the best for last.
http://img387.imageshack.us/img387/2273/img23002mv.jpg
yep thats a green playstation. now i can play my japanese version of Castlevania: SotN (Akumajo Dracula X: Gekka no Yasoukyoku) and it was only $50... i should have bought 2
the only other things i got were painy legs from walking a mile in the wrong direction and back trying to get to the hotel from the bart station. never trust mapquest to say left when its supposed to. oh well it was all worth it. cant wait to go again in 2 years.
