Check this out....

Quite awhile back I got this game "The Adventures of Dr. Franken or something like that for the SNES. Now, the thing is that I get lots of games here and there, and sometimes it can be quite some time before I get around to actually popping the thing into my SNES and giving it a go.

So I finally got around to trying out Dr. Franken. I popped it into my SNES, and instead of seeing the Dr. Franken attract screen, I see Japanese writing and what appears to be Dragon Ball Z 3.

I'm guessing that somebody took the inards of a Dragon Ball Z 3 Super Famicom cart, and put it inside this Dr. Franken cart.

weird.

This is the first time that I've ever put a game cart in a system to find out that the chips inside had been swapped with another game.

You would think that somebody would have used some crappy Sports game for that, but instead they used this Dr. Franken game.

Not that Dr. Franken is a great game or anything, in fact, it's probably pretty horrible, but I'm not a Dragon Ball Z guy, so I'm kinda dissapointed.

Oh well. It makes for interesting conversation I guess.

Thats odd....but really cool. Someone probably did that so they could play imports on a US SNES(but you'd think they could just take those plastic pieces out.)

Yeah, probably the easiest way to play it on a US system was to just swap em.

When I was a kid my brother came home from the rental store. He said his friend returned a game that was not the game that was on the label, someone had swapped the guts and returned it the video store lol.
