I wanted to go today since I live just 45 minutes away from downtown Dallas. What are their hours of operation? I tried going to www.vgXpo.com but the site would not work for me. I definitely want to go Sunday.
Are you allowed to bring in a backpack inside? Were there other people with games wanting to trade, buy or sell?
Thanks,
Alex

I was there today, I had a brown Dig Dug shirt on. It was fun, but very small. I did manage to find a few games I wanted to buy at good prices but man I was broke so i only picked up the essentials. I might go back tomorrow, maybe..

10-5, both days. I'm sure there would be no problem with bringing a backpack in.

Apparently, I missed MegaManFan by about 5 mins. :/
Here's my pix from today. I don't know if they really show how sparse it was or not.

Wow. That's a lot of white space.
I'm thinking I'm glad I didn't make the trek down there as planned (though it would have been cool to say hey to you and MMF).

I'll be there tomorrow then ;) Or try to at least
I guess I'll be looking out for you Flack since you're pretty easy to spot (i've seen your pic on your website :D )
Me? I'm a 6' Hispanic with grown out curly/wavy hair, PERHAPS parading around with a backpack hehe
Too bad I don't have any distinguishing DP accessories.
Maybe I'll make my own Digital Press shirt from a white shirt *rubs chin*

I would have liked to have gone but sadly it fell on a weekend where I've got "that other Expo" to run. Thanks for sharing pics with us!
I'm sure it was fun! As for the "white space", as I've always said: it's not how may people attend that make a show great. Don't get too caught up in the numbers and never underestimate how incredibly cool it is to catch up with fellow forum members.
Hope to see it all at the Philly location.

MMF: I assume Tomlin's dialer is for the Atari 8-bit computers? Is he actually selling these anywhere in particular, or is it just made when people ask for one?
Flack: in
this image (http://www.robohara.com/albums/vgxpo2005/index2.php?ishome=1&filename=P1010020.JPG&filenumber=20), what is the "Asteroids" thing to the right?

Actually it's an Atari 2600 dialer, that works with the numeric keypads. Seriously. When he told me that I was so shocked I had to buy one for myself. I asked for #1 or #2 but those were already reserved, so I ended up with #7. I'd PM him for a copy, I don't know if he has them anywhere on the web. He was just carrying them around with him in a bag at the show.

They were little watches by Fossil with LCD screens in the background. The one I saw running was Asteroids. I believe that the box is what the watch came in. They were pretty awesome looking!

Watches, wow. Too bad I don't wear them and they're a bit pricey...
Oh, and I guess I'd better try to get ahold of Bruce then. I may not have recent contact info, so I may be posting here again if not.
Anyway, thanks for the info guys!
