In the last few weeks, I have won numerous things off of Ebay, as well as one or two orders from other places.....but for the last two or three weeks, I haven't received ONE package......I still get all my junk mail, but no boxes.....some of the stuff has tracking and delivery conf., and it says on the usps site delivered to my address with the date, but nothing has turned up....I even won a Winning Post for Saturn off of a board member, chockobokick, and the tracking lists as being delivered, but nothing....I went to the post office at least 4 times, they say the carrier doesn't remember leaving any packages for me in the last 2 weeks, so how is my stuff being scanned as being delivered?!?! It's going on over $200 worth of stuff missing, I already had my mail held so I can pick it up at the post office in case someone is stealing it, but I live in a small town in a house with 3 apts., and they always leave boxes inside the front door...anyone have any suggestions on what I can get the post office to do, or what choices I have?? How is it being scanned as delivered if it's not even making it to my post office, according to them?? Do I have ANY leverage at all in making something happen?? :( Any help is GREATLY appreciated, thanks .....

if they are shipping USPS and the package is bigger then your mailbox then you will need to go to the post office to pick it up.

That's not the case, at least by me. The only time I have to go pick it up, is if it's insured. If it just has delivery confirmation, they will just leave it on the front porch.

I've checked with the post office, they don't have 'em, and they are usually left inside the front door of the apt. house I live in, but they are telling me the carrier hasn't noticed any packages come by for me, so I think they may be getting sent to a diff. address or something....I do know that my street is the last stop on the route, and I don't get my mail till after 6 PM......

Packages get left on the front porch here to, unless it is insured. Size and DC doesn't seem to matter. Usually on larger packages they'll ring the door bell, but if no one answers within 15-20 seconds, they sit it down and leave it. :/
I would definitely suggest Insurance, it's cheap, and they have never left any packages around my house, when it's insured. Other than that, there's always Signature Confirmation, it's a bit higher priced, but would do the same thing.
Alternatively you might want to ask for UPS shipping from the people you buy from, maybe try them for awhile. Around here though, packages still get dropped off and left by UPS. Again you may have to ask for a Signature Confirmation before they'll hold it.

I feel bad about this :( We have sold to lots of board members and never had any problems! I hope your packages are recieved soon. Just like you said the delivery conf # we got for you says delivered.
We had a problem similiar to this before we moved, we bought a bunch of stuff (over $100) from Japan- cool Animal Crossing stuff, and other packages we never got. We thought maybe they were going to the 2206 down the street instead of us.
Also UPS won't help much, our old UPS driver was really nice and we signed for everything. I get a lot of samples and catalogs UPS for my job, and here at the new place they don't even KNOCK or ring the doorbell, much less have me sign for anything.

I'm just confused because I moved here over a year ago, and I usually get 5-6 packages a week, and never had a prob. until right after Christmas.....I don't think the packages are even getting here, I think the postal carrier, being this is the last street on the whole routh, is getting lazy and scanning the stuff and dropping it off at the wrong house, either that, or it's not even getting to my town post office.......I guess I'm gonna have to stop getting stuff through the mail for a while, until the postmaster actually does something about all this :(

get one of those mini P.O. Boxes, your Packages will not fit in there, making the post office put one of those "Claim me at the counter" sheets, where you would have to to the coutner and have them hand it to you. but for what has already happened, ug.
try shipping yourself a box or some ship you one, and track the thing.
