Dreamcast problem.

My Dreamcast fails to recognise Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver as a valid game disc; instead, it only allows me to play audio 'track 2' - i.e. the warning not to play the game on any system other than the Dreamcast. This is the only game I recieved with the system (woo car boot sales). The machine plays 'real' audio CDs fine (not CD-Rs, sadly), and otherwise seems to run OK. The disc is in OK condition, it only has a few faint lines across part of the disc like any other well-played game would have

My question is thus: is this a problem with my system, or the game?

You need more confirmed working games to test with, before any useful guesses can be made.

I do know that I have had a couple of games before that do this and after a good cleaning, or two, or three, the things Just Might come back from the dead and start working again. Worth a try, otherwise, I agree with the above posts.
