haha, yea, videos were good.
I did have one question though, is this gonna be able to play for me?
I mean, is it region coded? I know the NES is coded so they dont' work for the US, not sure about the SMS.

I'd be very interested in purchasing Defender 2000 alone.. should you decide to "part out" the JG lot. I already have a Jaguar unit. Please let me know. BTW.. I've heard that Jaguar carts are "universal".. you know if that's true? Thanks.

I'd love to get my hands on that Jag, but I've got to complete my 3DO and Saturn stuffs first. Consider me interested until the wife allows me to pay for it.
EDIT: I'm not sure if it's Euros or GBP you're quoting your prices in.
I need to know before proposing to the missus.

Well as far as I know, in the UK TVs work on PAL. Here in North America TVs work on NTSC.
While most Jag games (when propperly programmed) will detect the TV system of the console and arreange the video output accordingly meaning they're "universal", the TVs (except of the most recent ones) cannot "adjust" themselves in order to match the console video output.
That leads me to the point:
Does anyone know if a PAL Jag will work on a NTSC TV?
I mean, without any converter or such device. Just plugging the console to the TV.
Because the games are not a problem at all, but the console itself...

I had a look in the manual for anything, and couldnt find anything about the region. However i checked underneath the jag itself and on the sticker it says :
ATARI JAGUAR
ATARI CORPORATION
MADE IN THE U.S.A.
and has an address for ATARI in california, and says about patents in the US. So im guessing it will work in the US? or it might have just been made there?
i dont know..sorry

I just HATE when I don't have the cash or the chance of getting something I miss :frustrated: (I once had one Jag like yours, had to sell it in order to get my Car )
Everything points that it *might* be a NTSC Jag, but don't know for sure x_x
