Can Anyone guide me to, preferably PS1, PS2, GC, or Xbox, that has tons of unlockables, and things to do that will keep me occupied for a really long time. (For example Dynasty Warriors 5 has kept me occupied for more then a month, unlocking all the endings and characters and etc.)

Thanks guys.

DW 4 and its 2 expansions should keep you busy. GTA 3, VC, SA should also keep you cracking forever. Even after giving up on the story mode, theres so many extras and general randomness that can keep you busy for MONTHS.

ChoroQ will keep you busy for weeks, trying to complete all of the races (finding all of the items to compete in the parts races is a motherfucker)

R Type Final has a shit load of ships to unlock. And it rocks. Fuck the haters. :)

Activision Anthology for the PS2 should keep you busy for a while.

I'm going to second the GTA series. Those games are insanely huge and FULL of unlockable stuff.

DOAU has something like 137 unlockable costumes. It takes about 20 hours to unlock them all by beating the game over and over and over. It may seem bland, but i rather enjoyed it and was damn sataitsified since once i unlock all of the DOAU costumes i also unlock the DOA3 booster disc and the CG gallary.

Soul Cal 2 also has a lot of unlockable weapons.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 & 4 collect decks, stat points, money (part 4) etc. , Thug(underground) 1 & 2. thug had me going toe to toe for sometime. i started with the easiest difficulty and with each time i beat the game, i would try the next level. they have unlockable levels that are definitely fun.

Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. It takes a lot of time to get every swimsuit, accessory, and item for each of the gals.

Gran Turismo 3 (and probably 4) would be my suggestion. My dad played that often and exclusively for about a year unlocking everything you can. But my vote of the king of unlockables is trying to get all the items in Animal Crossing. If you don't mess with the clock, it wil take at least a year to get all the tunes, so say nothing for the billions of other things to collect.

Everblue 2 (PS2). You'll be playing it for at least a month straight- I kid you not.

Ape Escape 2 (PS2) also has TONS of stuff to unlock: monkey bios, gadgets, music, even 3 minigames, & it's all pretty easy to get since the game has a somewhat easy skill level until about 4/5 the way through.

Summer Heat Beach Volleyball (PS2) is a comparable alternative to DOA: EBV. Swimsuits, characters, accessories (some are hilarious like devil horns & ballet tutus), & stuff in the beach house like actual music videos & Acclaim game previews (which are old now!)

I think Deathrow (Xbox) has quite a few unlockables. Very good game, too.

Time Splitters 2 / 3 both have over a hundred unlockables. Tons of challenges have to be beat to get them, it's a load of fun.

Took my roommate and I several months to finally unlock everything. Great games, though, especially with friends.

Oh Burnout 3 will keep you busy for a long time, unlocking all the cars and tracks. It's really fucking fun too.

Pretty much the entire Super Smash Bros. Melee game is unlockable. I've been playing it forever, and still don't have everything. The characters are somewhat easy; but there is so many levels that you can obtain.

Morrowind is fucking huge with an ungodly amount of side-quests and random crap to do, especially the Game of the Year Edition, which has both of the expansion packs for the PC on it as well.

No fighting game I have ever played has near as many unlockables as Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution.

Harvest Moon will keep the completist busy for awhile, so will Final Fantasy Tactics. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (GC) also has a bunch of unlockables. I dare you to get all the Chao eggs, I dare you!

The Missions to unlock...the GameGear games to unlock...takes a good 2-3 weeks to master this stuff

Fighter's MegaMix on Saturn...(Couldn't name a sweeter game then this)

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (PS2/Xbox verison) Thanks to the added gallery...it takes a lil bit longer to unlock everything

Thanks for all the Replies guys! Funny thing is I own like 80% of what has been named lol. Ape Escape sounds fun...and I wish I could find a copy of Super Smash Bros Melee...I seem to remember getting coins and buying things out of a vending machine...that sounds like fun.
