If anyone is interested, I have a broken version 1.0 xbox with the original Enigmah modchip. Unfortunately, the system became corrupt after the install of a new dashboard. I am sure someone with a little technical knowhow could fix this. I am willing to part ways with it VERY cheap. I'm looking between $50-$75 which is MORE than fair considering its broken. If interested, make an offer.

Before you sell it, if you're still interested in salvaging it, you may want to check with omnedon (mod of the Technical Restoration Society forum), who may or may not be able to fix it for you. From what I've heard and read, he's pretty good with the modding stuff.

Theres a VERY EASY solution if the dashboard is the only problem and you have a modchip installed.

Just download the Slayer´s disc for xbox (around 300 MB, find it on google.com) It will boot the xbox and install a fresh dashboard in it

I actually ran into this problem with my Xbox..

I am -guessing- that he can not boot any discs, since his clock is reset. If the XBOX's clock is reset, it will not boot any discs, and instead send the user to the dashboard so the user can enter the correct time/date.

So what is the solution?

Install a new mod-chip that can auto correct the Time, and has built in FTP access.... like the Xecuter3.. highly recommened!

Also, if you don't want to install a new mod-chip, it is possible to perform the "HD-Swap trick", look it up on google or something, it will allow you to hook up your Xbox HD to your computer and modify the files that way..
