I am one of those nuts who is excited about Nintendogs and have been looking for a place to buy it where a premium is being offered. I just came across a Target flyer in yesterday's paper and they are offering a leash. I admit, it doesn't sound too exciting but it's the only "extra" I have found being offered for buying Nintendogs. If you know another, please post it here.

Here is a scan of the flyer:

I was always against putting stickers on systems. Eventhough those faceplate type stickers they have for the DS are pretty cool.

Are you SURE about that EB pre-order? I pre-ordered the game there a couple weeks ago and was'nt told anything about it. I guess I'll find out when the game comes in tommorow.

If you don't buy Nintendogs when you get a new game, then you will lose money not buying it. Buy now! Buy now! Buy now!

I'm the exact same way, though. I just don't have a DS, or I would probably get the leash, or just wait for some more games to come out and for Nintendogs to go down in price.

Almost every EB got just a few of these in. Dangerboys store had over 30 pre-orders and got in 5 bags. The store I got mine from had at least 6 pre-orders (mine being the 6th) which was placed a day after they pulled the Preorder special off the website and they only got 2. No one got enough to cover their pre-orders. Rushing out tonight isnt gonna help you.

Oh well, it sounds like I'm in for a Target leash.

I was at Target today and they told me that they are only getting Nintendogs on Wednesday, isn't is supposed to be out tomorrow?

I was reading that the pre-order swag was in short supply. I rushed down to the EB where I pre-ordered and ask if the N'dog game was out yet. The manager was working and said it did not come out till tomorrow. He then ask if I had pre-ordered, I said yes, he then reached under the counter and handed me the lunch bag and said "here, so you don't feel as though you wasted a trip." I was smiling like a big dog and left swinging my bag! Cannot wait until tomorrow.

Oh No....Now I have to decide if I want to wait an extra day for a silly Target leash or rush out tomorrow morning and find a store that has it.

On the Nintendogs Simon Mall Tour they had card that said Gamestop was giving away the Puppy Protector Backpack Lock when you reserve but no gamestop I visit has even heard of the things.

Any collectors getting each of the three versions at three different stores to get the different pre-order bonuses?

Blah. Well, I'll just have to ask when I get my copy of the game at my local EB tommorow. Hopefully they know how much I spend there and will feel sorry for me. :)

Remember one of Target's icons? Bull Terrier with red circle, have Nintendo and Target thought of releasing Target Exclusive Bull Terrier version?

On seperate note has anyone got it yet?

I just got home with it. Have'nt had a chance to try it yet because I work second shift.

On a related note -- my local EB store where I had the game pre-ordered had gotten in ONE, yes ONE of the pre-order coolers and screen cleaners! And since I was the first person to ASK about it, they gave it to me with a smile. :D

Also, I was told that pre-orders for the game were tight -- they only had ONE extra copy of the game that was'nt spoken for in a pre-order. @_@

There's already talk of same simulation game for cats, IMO, I'd like Nintendo stay with dogs, due to the fact that Nintendo pays a lot of attention to details on the games, if you read the article, Miyamoto is also a hobby puppy breeder, I'm sure all 18 breeds on the games are observed and based on the real dogs in life as they grow up.

There're still a lot of areas for Nintendo to explore this series (just dogs alone) and milk the heck out of this concept, in fact, it just got started, as a lot of females and non-gamers are joining the craze.
