Well....I would believe it's time to go to the store. I still regret the day I sold mine. So this would be a good thing for me

Given that Blue60 is in Toronto, can somebody please confirm whether this is available in the U.S.? I suppose I should just go to the store myself...

Incidentally, I despise Lucky Charms :puke:, but Atari is Atari, so I guess I'll buy a box if I can.

I stopped in at the local Giant Eagle supermarket (Cleveland Heights, OH 44118) yesterday evening and checked out their Lucky Charms stock. Alas, there were no bonus discs in the boxes they had on display.

It's gotta be Canada-only, cuz my boyfriend buys insane amounts of Lucky Charms and he'd be raving about it if he found a 80+ Atari games disc in his cereal.

Hey, that will make a decent ebay auction. Stock up on Lucky Charms, man. You can never have enough Lucky Charms

Do you guys have the new chocolate Lucky Charms up there? They're delish

I have had a beef with Lucky Charms since I was 7 years old. They ran an add, you send in 3 proof of purchase upc's and get a free atari 2600 cartridge. I choked down 3 boxes and sent away for it. They sent me back a letter saying they ran out of games, here's a coupon for more cereal. The bastards! I hate em!

What aboot the Crystal XboX we had before Christmas? eh? I don't think the US was ever open to that promo.

They've got the Chocolate Lucky Charms here in NH, they're ok, I guess...not as good as I'd hoped they'd be. I had Marshmallow Fruit Loops recently and they were WAY better than I thought they'd be...I thought it would be just too much, but they weren't at all.

So....who wants to send me a box of the Lucky Charms with the game disk in it? Let me send some cash your way!

Yeah, my mom went to Wal-Marts today and I asked her to see if the Lucky Charms had the disk in it. They didn't :( .

Salutes.

My main objection to the things is how they smell once they become completely saturated, it's like an ashtray full of sugar. When I was growing up my dad and brother ate Lucky Charms compulsively; I'm talking one quart bowls. The stench was so awful I'd have to leave the room.

and to keep on topic....hey, ill have to keep my eyes out for that freebie disc!

I wouldnt mind having one of those disc's. Nice little something to add to the collection. Not to mention Lucky Charms are one of my fav cereals. Its no Count Chocula or Frankenberry, but it still ranks up there.

And can you imagine some little kid getting this CD full of games out of the box. Throws it in the PC then all of a sudden "WTF is this?!? These graphics suck, the sound is horrible, only one "action" button, and ugh theres no blood, sex, or violence! Grrrrrr!" *runs off to play PS2*

I went shopping at my local Safeway today and lo and behold - they ARE offering free software in boxes of Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Reese's Pieces Cereal, etc. (NOT in Lucky charms though :) The CD is the "Atari: 80 Classic Games in One", which still sells for $20 US from the Atari web site!

Anyway, info about the game can be found here: http://www.atari.com/us/games/atari_80_classic/pc

There are other titles available too (6 in the series I think), but the only other one really worthwhile is "Rollercoaster Tycoon II". You have to go through all the boxes, however, because the CDs are all distributed randomly.

Anyway, I'm a sucker for these kinds of things. I have the PS2 collection of Atari games (almost identical), but some games are much better if you use a mouse to simulate a track-ball controller. (I'm unaware of paddles or a track-ball for the PS2 :D )

BTW, I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

I'm in Ontario and got mine in a box of Oatmeal Raisin Crisp. You can't miss the boxes. There's a big round cutout on the front with the disc just sitting there, attached from the inside.

I'm pretty sure that it's the same disc that just came out for the consoles anyways.
