It looks nice worth buying? I really liked the movie, I bought psyconaunts kinda disapointing 7/10 for poor level design and lack of enemy variety or enemy hit stun effect, nice bosses though and nice fluff, but still.

I usually tend to stay away from games based on movies. To me, they usually don't have the same 'feel' as a normal game. I'm sure this one is fairly child-like as well. Not that I mind that, but... you know.

I saw it in the store demo *nice looker* but I didn't have time to play, I don't care if it's easy just not sw lego easy :angry: most of the reviews said about 7/10 as the general consensus gamerankings I think.

le geek: Futurama was a so so game. Its got great voice acting, but many of the levels (for the 50% of the game I played) just went on to long. That coupled with poopy enemies for the Bender and Leila levels made me not put it back in after I lost my save data (that and the fact that I wanted to not loose more of my life).

I played the Madagascar in store demo and it was the super average run around collect shit game. Its graphics didnt impress and control was pretty weak. But hey I like FPS games and was born in Berkeley California so I guess my opinion doesnt matter.

Now THAT'S a good adventure game. And you don't have to collect everything, either.

I rented Madagascar for my son who just turned 8. He beat it by himself in 4 hrs. Its not a tough game but a nice game for kids. He wanted me to buy it because he would still play it even though he has beat it. But I will be waiting for a really good deal, then I will get it for him.

Yeah, unless you're looking for a childish platforming collectathon, I'd suggest staying away from Madagascar, and for that matter, any movie-based platformer. I'm sure there a some games that deviate from this formula, but still. You're much better off looking for non-licensed platformers.

Have you tried the Jak, Ratchet, and Sly Cooper series of games? If not, that's a great place to start , as they're all cheap and excellent games. And of course, Mario, Sonic, and Mega man are always safe bets.

I've played the game; it's actually pretty terrible. it's one of those games where it seems like the developers were told that it was being marketed toward kids, so they didn't have to put any effort into the graphics, sound, or control if they didn't feel like it.

if you're looking for a game based off a shitty CG movie, go for Shark Tale instead.
