interact ps1 mobile monitor

i just ordered this huge

Interact mobile monitor (color LCD screen) for the PS1

((i also have a sony screen so im using that one as my reference))

i got it becasue it cost 13.50 - right now im glad i did not order 5 of these -

i thought hey an extra monitor with AV input cool

i just tryied it out and the picture is horible

is this screen suposed to look like crap?

i can see everything but the screen is a little darker and the pixels look huge - is this what it is sposed to look like?

i have never tried one out in a store - this is my first time seeing this monitor all i have ever seen is the sony one


so, all you guys reading this that have this monitor or have used it- did you notice the same thing?

is the one i got bad?

I definitely prefer the Sony screen over Interact's screen. Sure, it's a lot cheaper, but it is NOT of the same quality.

Plus, the little PSone hooked up to the Sony LCD is just sexy as hell!

I can't vouch for the PSX screen, but I can say that the Interact PS2 screen is utter crap with both a dark screen and blurry images.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree....

I've tried the Interact screen for the Gamecube, PS1, and the Xbox and they all SUCK !!!!!

Ireally don't know why people wouldn't buy this thing and then return it IMMEDIATELY . x_x

I use mine all the time. I wouldn't use it for playstation, but for every other system it works fine. Granted its not the best quality but it gets the job done. The sounds pretty decent on it though.


Opps damn it I have the intec monitor. Intec interact names are too damn similar. :/

EB games.com -- I orderd it on tuesday and wed I looked to order a few more and it was pulled off the website. I don't know if that was temporary or not. I was bummed then but im glad now -- id be stuck with 5 peices of sh*t

mabey they were trying to get rid of them and thats why it was so cheap

Yeah, the Intec PS2 screen is pretty decent. I'm just jealous now that portable screens larger than five inches are coming around now.

I have the Xbox Interact screen and yup, it looks pretty blurry. It's definitely the type of screen people buy and then bring right back.

(Which is how I got it for $20 cheaper at BestBuy - it was a previously opened box).

I kept it though because, well, I've modded my Xbox, and if I want to bring it somewhere to swap MAME roms it's handy to have a screen specifically for it. Besides, the emulated stuff doesn't expose how bad the screen is unlike, say, Doom 3 does, so it's still pretty cool brining it up north in case of a rainy day in a cottage with no TV.

(Edit: The lesson, as always, I'm an idiot. I have the Intec screen, not the Interact one. Everything else I said above is still true though, the bluriness, the $20 off)
