I didn't get home from work in time, but it's on again at 1 a.m. tonight (tomorrow morning, whatever).

If anyone saw it, was it any good? Anything new/worthwhile? And I know it's G4, but you never know.

Lesse, it was either that, or the Daily Show...

I watched it. The first half explained the 'evolution' of adult themed games featuring Custer's Revenge, Beat Em and Eat Em, Night Trap and the success of the Sims and Leisure Suite Larry franchises. In the second half, Adem Sessler and a few people had a round table discussion about the ESRB rating system with some other guy on a television screen who looked like Kanto from the Superman cartoons.

It was nothing that hasn't already been discussed on these forums, but interesting none the less.

It was alright, much better than most of the garbage G4 runs. Was nice to see SOMEONE remember Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode. (if only they'd watch the anime and REALLY see how R rated the franchise was) As Doonzmore noted, it's all been said. Seeing Adam Sessler have half a minute to speak his mind without the damn Comcast / G4 conglomorate feeding crap down his throat was nice - how I miss the days of ZDTV / TechTV with Gamespot TV / Extended Play.

Yeah, I watched it last night and there wasn't much new, but it was well done.

The first patr pretty much ammounted to "There has always been boobs, only the resolution changes."

I didn't catch much of the second part, but it seemed like everyone got a chance to speak. It's a shame no one from R* participated. Maybe they are worried about a potential lawsuit or something?

The first half was a basic history of sex in games. The last half was people speaking their minds. Personally, I would've like to have seen Jack Thompson on there. Someone needs to explain to that crazy asshole how the ESRB works. Which they do in that special. Rockstar lied about the content not being there when it really was. The ESRB doesn't need to be shut down, Rockstar needs to get sued enough so they don't screw up this industry for the tenth time.

Seeing Sessler talk seriously was like warping back to 2002...

You are missing the target. Thompson is not taken seriously and doesn't have political support. He is actually a blessing for the game industry.

Rockstar lied about the content not being there when it really was.

Was this said on the show or is it your opinion? According to ESRBs policies, was a publisher obligated to reveal non-playable game-sequences to the ESRB?

Too bad I missed the show, would have been interesting to watch.
