View Full Version : Who's getting MotoGP 3 (Xbox) next week?

One more week and it's finally here, MotoGP 3 for Xbox. Anyone here plan on getting it? UK OXM just gave it a 9.5 out of 10 and if it plays anything like MGP2, I'm sure that score is legit. MGP2 was such a great game, so I'm expecting MGP3 will be even better. Retails for only $39.99 too!
Plays up to 16 people online and has twice as many tracks as MGP2 (which I think brings the total to around thirty something). Also features something called an Extreme Mode which I gather is arcade-style street racing instead of the typical MGP sim-style racing. No clan options which I'm kind of bummed out about but it'll be easy to hook up with friends for online races.
If anyone is getting this game and want's to race, post here with your GT.

I wasn't aware of it comming out next week, but I will be picking this up.. definately... along with KOF-2002-2003 8-)

Hmm, sounds decent. I'll consider picking it up, though next week's budget is reserved for Pump it Up. It might be kind of weird playing with a wheel, but whatever. Heh.

Oh man, I totally forgot KOF 02/03! Looks like it's coming out the same day as Moto GP 3, so I guess I'll have to pick that one up too.

Sounds allot like MGP2 but the game is looking real choice. The new tracks sound great too. I can't wait 'till Thursday now.

Yeah, the MotoGP games are definitely sim-style racing games, so they take some time getting used to.
I just picked up MotoGP 3 this week and it's incredible. The Grand Prix mode plays almost exactly the same as MotoGP 2 but now they've included an "Extreme" mode with completely new tracks which is MUCH more easier to play. In Extreme, the bikes and tracks are allot more forgiving than GP mode, so you hardly ever wipe out. This mode looks like it's going to be a blast to play online.
Haven't taken the game online yet (still trying get all bikes and stat points unlocked first) but the online play pretty much looks the same as MGP2 with the exception of a new Seeding ranking system which I think is what they use in Forza.
If you're into racing games, you'll definitely want to pick up MGP3. It's a nice change of pace from the typical driving/racing games and it's very well done.
