Okay well I jsut bought a large lot of playstation games. Or atleast what I thought was playstation games. It turns out to be nearly a hundred playstation demos. Are these worth anything? From what I understand these aren't the full games. Is there anyone on here who collects them? I'm definitely looking to trade or sell them. I have absolutely no interest in most of them. Most of them are disc only. Things such as
Jampack
Official Playstation Magazine
Namco
Pizza Hut
Something Interactive
Then there are some for specific games that come in fancy packaging.
Spyro
Crash
Final Fantasy VII
I can't remember them off the top of my head aparrently. But there are a lot of them. There are over a hundred cd's. I need them to be worth tleast $1 each on average or I have a lot of complaining to do.
Thanks

Personally, their value for me is for use as coasters (after being viewed/played a few times.

Anything and everything is collected when you find the right people. Both Dangerboy and I collect PS demo's.
Most dont hold all that much value, (couple bucks at most) unless you come across a very select few.
PM either Dangerboy or I a list and we might be interested in making it worth your while to snatch what you can.

I have a few Titan A.E. demos factory sealed, they are quite rare. And a few others, like those from Squaresoft(SquareEnix) and PSUnderground.

I have quite a few PSone demos, don't know if they're collectible, but I like them regardless.

I'm currently in the middle of typing a Titan A.E demo disc review for this site, but only because the full version was never released.

Digital Press Tip: If it is related to videogames, someone here collects it =).
There are hundreds of PSX demos, and I'm sure DB and PapaStu are close to the set. Aside from a few (say, NBA 2Ball), they're worth no more than a buck or two. The Titan AE demo really isn't that rare - it's cool because the game is unreleased, but it's quite easy to buy online for a couple bucks if you want one for yourself.

I love my collection of demos. I go back once in a while and sometimes find hidden gems in them. Plus it gives you a chance play games you would not normally buy and cinvince you to buy them.

That Res Evil 1.5 demo is of some real worth, I believe. But I doubt you have that, right?

Considering there was no demo and very few people actually played the beta build of it before they started the project over (I know John Ricardi from EGM played it at one point, but don't know of anyone else offhand), I strongly doubt that a "demo disc" of it is out there.
Though there are Resident Evil 2 / Biohazard 2 demo discs with differences from the final released version, in addition to earlier betas that have been released, but no one has put out the fabled "1.5".
Biohazard Dual Shock Director's Cut's second disc has a few videos on it that I converted to XviD if anyone is interested, though.
On topic though, I LOVE demo discs because I love ripping the videos from them, especially if the footage is from an obviously early build of the game and/or shows stuff not in the final game. Any of ya'll demo disc collectors down for hooking a video junkie up with some good trailers? :(

Yup, RE1.5 is proto only (and would def sell for 1000+ if one went on the market).
