I have a buyer that is offering me 15 bucks for me to sell him my neogeo pocket color see below for image. It IS (sorry for the typo) in great condition, is that price fair?

$15 is a tad low. The rarity guide lists it at $65, so maybe let it go for about $45 -$50.

I've sold loose units for 15 bucks. A boxed unit for 15 (with good wear seems more than fine) to me (in other words, if I needed it i'd gladly pay the 15, based on the picture and feel that I got a deal). The question is what do YOU feel comfortable letting the system go for? You can always ask for more.

15-20 works for an open boxed system as a minimum.

Thats what I was worried about. I see that then some here *like above* say 15 is fine lol. And nothing is wrong with the system at all. WHAT TO DOOOO WHAT TO DOOOO!?!?!

I would expect to pay around $20 loose, $30-$40 boxed. As for what to do, thats obvious. Keep it and play it. Its got some absolutely amazing games.

I think around 25-30 for the complete system would be a good price.

It's boxed. Don't let it go for less than 30.

$15 is way too low, maybe you didn't play the right games on it. You should try some of the fighting games.

The hardware prices in the guide currently are too high, I'm bringing them down.

My NGPC is priceless simply because of Card Fighters Clash. Hell of a portable card game. No NGPC thread should exist without someone mentioning it.

I'd go with DP. 30 bucks for a boxed NGPC with no games sounds fair to me.

I'm not even in the market for an NGPC, and if I saw a nice looking one like that one, even w/o box, I'd pay $15 in a heartbeat.

What this should be telling you is $15 is way to low. Don't let it go for less than $30 and, honestly, I think I'd probably say $35.

If you haven't played Card Fighters Clash, you haven't even come close to wearing off the fun :)

Ehh, you beat me to it. I would keep it and look for more games for it, there are some absolute gems for that system. Cardfighters Clash, SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millenium, Gal's Fighters, Bust-a-Move Pocket, Baseball Stars Color, Faselei!... some great stuff you'll miss out on.

But, if you insist on selling it, I wouldn't let it go for less than $30. Try to get $40 or more if you can, it's worth that much in that condition.

Early last year I was able to buy new ones at TRU for $20 and one with Sonic for $27. So $15 is good for the buyer, you might ask for a little more.

I agree. I might even skew it more towards $40...I think thats what I sold mine for a little while ago.

You can get them all day long on Ebay for $32.00 shipped. Brand New.

And you can get them Brand New and with 6 games for $66 shipped.

And you can get them used in good condition for around $20 shipped

If you haven't played Card Fighters Clash 2: Expand Edition, you haven't even come close to wearing off the fun.

Ok it's a bit hard too find, and it is also one with a high price, but a lot better then the original. If you played part one the Japanese is no problem. It adds more then hunderd new cards, reaction cards you can play when you are attacked, better AI and some of the too strong cards from part one became less powerful.

I think that game is a must-have. SNK Playmore should convert that game to the GBA or DS.

Do they have a fan translated version of CFC 1? The english version has got to be the worst translation ever. I still don't know what some of those cards do. Don't get me wrong, its one of my favorite games of all time. 100+ hours logged!

Have you read this How The Heck Do You Use This Card Guide (http://www.classicgaming.com/sngp/games/svsc/howtheheck.txt)?

does CFC2 have an English mode? some NGPC games had both the JP & US roms on the cart

Only the real early ones where they could fit both language sets on the cart. Most of them are one language only.

No Japanese only, last games with english and japanese in the same cart were Delta Warp and that stupid wresling game. They never used the multi-language on text intensive games.

Thanks for the advice everyone! You have been most helpful with this. Who is it that decides on the final price on the guides?

In the case of the NGPC its Mayhem.

But thats after factoring in stuff found and seen in the wild, on places like ebay, online sites in general ect ect ect. Its not a single ider stumbled upon after a night at the bar. Promise.
