Hey I'm new to collecting Genesis games and I was wondering what Splatterhouse 2 & 3 cost on average. A local game store is selling them with the boxes and I was wanting to know a reasonable price as not to get jipped.

If they are complete with the box and instructions in nice shape, I would say the going rate is about $15 - $20+ each.
Cartridge only is maybe $7 - $10+ each.

Please limit your topics to BUYING, SELLING and TRADING items only. Asking questions of an item's worth, or what is a good price for an item does not really belong here. These types of question should be posted in the Video Game Forum (or Everything eBay if you see it on there), or even go look up the Online Rarity Guide. The only exception to this is an attempt to resolve a deal here (e.g. if people go missing and haven’t been heard from in a while).

Loosely based on the 1988 Namco coin-op, Splatterhouse. The original appeared on the TurboGrafx-16 and the somewhat obscure FM Marty Towns.
Splatterhouse 2 is actually a sequel to the first game.
From the West Mansion site:
"Splatterhouse 2 begins three months after Splatterhouse ends. Rick is told by the Mask that Jennifer is still alive, after her mysterious disappearance in the first game, and that he can help him get her back. Rick ends up going to the charred remains of West Mansion (which had burned to the ground at the end of Splatterhouse) and somehow ends up unconscious - at one point, he wakes up with the Mask on his face again... and the carnage starts anew."
