Which Nintendogs did you buy?

So I bought my Nintendogs last night after driving to 8 differents stores looking for the "Dachshund and friends"
Everywhere I went was sold out of that version and only had the other two " Chihuahua & Friends " and " Labrador and Friends"
I really wanted to start the game with a Pug, as I've
owned 2 pugs for the last 15 years and just recently had to have them put to sleep because of health reasons.

But I was just curious why the "Dachshund and Friends" seems to be more popular than the other 2.

I am really enjoying the "game" though!!

I will buy Lab and Friends. Reason: As I first see pictures from the Japanese Boxes the Shiba Box looks so sweet. Then I have see a picture with all dogs in the japanese versions and the Shiba and Friends version contains the sweetest dogs from all for me.
Then I hear, that Shiba will not released in USA and Europe. But Lab and Friends is near the same. Only 1 dog is missing from the Shiba Japanese Version.
And I see again a picture with all dogs for the USA Version and Lab and Friends contain this time the sweetest dogs and most dog which I would buy on the DS.

I have make me a list, which dog I will buy in my game.

3 on screen:
Pembroke Welsh Corgi (Labrador = Lab)
Shiba Inu (Labrador = Lab)
Siberian Husky (Dackel = Dachshund)

5 in Hotel
Zwergschauzer = Miniature Schnauzer (Labrador = Lab)
Mops = Pug (Dackel = Dachshund)
Sheltie = Shetland Sheepdog (Chihuahua)
Shih Tzu (Dackel = Dachshund)
Zwergpudel = Toy Poodle (Labrador = Lab)

So from:
Lab and Friends = 4 Dogs
Dachshund = 3 Dogs
Chihuahua = 1 Dog

I hate Chihuahuas like crazy, and I don't like pugs either. Honestly, I like dogs that end up being LARGE adult dogs. So I'll probably go with Lab, if I ever decide to buy the game for some reason.

Nope. As soon as the Rairty Guide is updated, the six dogs in each version will be in the description.

Dachshaud & friends for me. I find it has the best selection of dogs. Got me a little begale name Axel.

Although next week i'll have the other 2 versions if i can find them. It's selling like crazy. I can't wait to see the figures.

I am going to hold out for Pit Bull & Friends. I hear its going to include the Rotweiller, Doberman, Akita and Bull Mastiff. I hear at some point the dogs may "turn" on you. :P

I got Lab and Friends. My reason?
I simply HAD to have a Welsh Corgi. I named him the most logical name I could think of. Ein. He soooo sweet!

IMO, Nintendo should definitely release more versions of this series, one idea is having a group of large breeds, once they grow, they can help you hunt, aka (hunting/dog sim in one). Some of the popular large dogs include, St Bernard, Great Pyrenees, Akita, American Bulldog, Newfoundland.

If I were Nintendo, I'd release as many versions/variations pf Nintendogs as possible, milking every single penny out of gamers' pockets and still kepp them happy.

Nintendogs reminds me of the SIMs crowd. If performing daily tasks or training a dog was so much fun, I wouldn't be playing a game.

Labrador and Friends is the version of Nintendogs I bought. Mainly because I own one and so does my mom :-P

I've ordered Lab & Friends for myself, and Dachs and Friends for my GF, although neither have arrived yet . :(

I don't have a DS yet either, but when I get one I'll get the Dachshund because my dog was a mini daschund.
