So I just dropped $10 for a sealed copy of the Mighty Benz game for GBA. Maybe its good, maybe not but the only reason I bought it is because it comes with a free "Majesco Gamer Beanz" in the box. It turns out there are 5 different unique Majesco Beanz with one of those five being rare. So I suppose you would have to buy about 20 copies of the game to get them all. I'm sick, but I'm not doing that. At any rate, I'm going to assume that this purchase turns out to be a tragic mistake once I actually play the game.
Now I rarely ever buy anything new, but now that I think about it, pretty much everything I do buy new is because it has some sort of pack-in premium goody that I'm convinced I'll never be able to find used. GBA Robotech got me with that lame little plastic figure, Super Mario Advance 4 actually made me pay retail to get the extra Wal Mart e-cards and Working Designs always nails me with their metric ton of bizare extras. I've also bought several Star Wars and Yu Gi Oh games to get the free exclusive cards, even though I have no intention of ever playing or collecting the card games.
Does this happen to anybody else or is it yet another example of my brain being miswired?
