I saw your room of doom this morning when I was searching the site because the forum wasn't working.
That is one impressive collection you've got there.
Complete PS1 collection!!

Very awesome room you've got there man.

I'll echo previous sentiments about that PS1 collection, and I like how you seem to have various systems and things scattered about the computer area. Things tend to 'pile up' around here pretty quickly as well if left unchecked. :D

Heh, yeah...usually it's just my PStwo for screenshots, but the 3DO is there for showing my auction games work, and the blue dev is just the shell, waiting for some other debug to come along and need it.

You should see what this place looks like normally...you'd think I didn't have a desk....just a pile. LOL

Nice dude, love the magazine rack... where did you grab it? We could use, like, 3 of them. >.>

Believe it or not, that was free.

I was taking out the trash at work one day when I walked into the trash compactor room and there it was. After giving it a once over, I quickly ran back to my store to grab the dolly and wheeled that thing across half a mall to get to my car. :D

It works 100%, the only real hitch is that one of the flaps won't bend back all the way, so occasioanlly a mag will fall out when I spin it. No scratches or nothing, it just needed a really good cleaning.

One's man trash is another man's trashy mag holder :D

Awesome collection. Easily my favorite posted (of the ones I've seen). I hate the PSX with a passion but that massive shelf filled with it's games gives me a glimmer of respect. 8-)

Quite amazing. I like the MGS Standee and Raven Figure. I also wish I had all of those GunCon1 bundles. They seem to be pretty scarce, even on ebay.

Nice room, I also saw this last night while checking to see if the forums were back up yet. Really like the MGS stuff.

Holy Cow! Great collection, great pics, I enjoyed every one of them.

Your PS1 collection is of course impressive. Very impressive. Do you have the regular games and then also for a single game the GH version? ...and I've never seen the three versions of Arc the Lad and Siver Star Complete side by side. :)

...the TG16 poster isn't geeky at all, looks great....and the covers for the OXM demo discs, well, I admired them already some time ago when you posted them. Great stuff!

Yep. When I mean variants, that's everything from a typo to a Greatest Hits. In fact, some of the worst variants are actually Greatest Hits. I have like, 6 Fighting Force and like 5 Tomb Raider II games...half of black stripes, half green stripes.

One day I will find Eidos and kick them in the jimmy. : )

Thanks! :D I actually want to do a PSX version, but I don't feel like paying the deforrestation fines for the paper it would cost to do. :D

I'd love to see the insurance guy's face when you hand over a list and pics of everything for a policy.

Neither of us have all 3 Arc covers yet...were not even sure that 3 exist...but he does have all 3 memory cards. I think he's got the store display box up there (which is different from the released box)

I had no clue you were so close to a complete NES collection. :-P

This is the kind of thing that makes people do one of two things.
Want to stop collecting because they will never reach that
or
Spend all of their hard earned money and spend all their free time attempting to emulate such a collection

Amazing collection man.

/me looks at PapaStu funny...

Um..all three of those are the real retail boxes there slappy. :)

The Memory card holders seemed randomized.

I had no clue you were so close to a complete NES collection

Yeah, the NES was my dirty little secret for the longest time, and then I hit a brick wall when I realized the last few games I needed were either a)A Pain in the to find at $30 a pop or b)a pain in the ass to find and $400 a pop.

Once I come within oh...10 variants of finishing the ("known") PSX variants, and have paid off my car and at least half of my one Credit Card, I'll probably go for the complete NES collection sans Panesian. Don't care how many people say they count, they don't in my book / wallet :)

This coming from the guy collecting Lightspan Teacher Manuals. x_x

EDIT ADD:

Amazing Colection one of the best I have seen

Does it get Hot in your attic?

Thanks!

And yes, it can get EXTREMELY hot up here sometimes. When we were remodeling the house, there wasn't anough money to finish everything. I have 3 huge gaping holes (really 2 crawl spaces with improper sized doors and a 6 foot gaping hole where the house's air condition unit is, behind my desk) in the attic, and until I can get those closed off, Air Conditioning wanders off like there was no tomorrow. In the winter it's actually quit enice, but summers suck. Thankfully come November, I'll be moving a floor down since my sister and her boyfriend will be moving to Germany. [/quote]
