It's that time again! It's been a whole 5 months since the last 'gaming expo' at the pad and I think it's time to do it again. So if you live in the area you're going to want to come check it out. Why? Cauz you'll get to do fun things such as:

* Playing games
* Playing computer games
* Trading stuff amongst the group
* Eat
* Be attacked by cats
* Play in the "Ice Arcade" ... bring your quarters!
* See odd gaming stuff you've never seen before.
* Hear witty things as "Wow, that's a nice, large joystick or "Any one want to play Hump the Wumpus?"

Anyone driving any distance is welcome to crash on the floor (space pending). The cats will sleep on your head.

So where's it at? In scenic Bentonville, Arkansas. Bring some spare cash for food, we've got plenty of places to go.
If we get enough people here for 2 days, we can spend day #2 hunting for stuff.

I'm going to show up so I can attack and be eaten by the cats.

Oh, wait. I think I got that mixed up.

I'm going to have to sell something to afford gas, but I'm still planning on coming!

Anyone else in the area looking for a fun weekend?

Hey, you're selling something to ME :D Remember? Just try to make it here before running out of gas :)

Fear not. I've always got gas when I go to these things.

As long as it isn't so toxic you knock us all out of the room.

*BUMP!* About a month left.

More bumps than my head! Some weeks left. I've ordered my Nibitschu (sp?) to JAMMA adapter so I'm hoping to have my Mag Max arcade machine up and going :) Plus I'll be torturing Flack with forcing him to play all 1,200 or so games on my rebuilt Amiga.

That doesn't sound like torture to me!

Grimbal wussed out, but so far we have about as many people as last time showing up.

Added some more "fun filled things" for us to do.

We're having some contests for cash and prizes!

(okay... no cash.. and maybe some of the prizes are crap I have lying around)

* Arcade Contest - best score on the machines in the arcade (currently Gondomania, Magmax, and Altered Beast and possibly SMB/Dr. Mario when Flack brings it). I will not be in this contest :)

* Best score on Pac-Man Vs.

* Endurance Test - who can get the best score on the worst possible games. I have an Rzone headband with your name on it!

You guys wouldn't want me there for Pac-man Vs. anyway. I'd stomped all your butts just like at the last gathering. :)

Of course if I did come back out I'd have throw some more boxes around. LOL

I will start packing for this tonight. If come up with anything you want me to bring, drop me a PM. I figured there would be more people in the OKC/Tulsa/AK/Springfield area interested in this!

AK = Alaska

Wow! I didn't realize we were expanding out that far. LOL

Sorry Flack, had to poke some fun at it.

Pansey boy Grimbal said he might make it in the evening... everyone spam him if he doesn't!

If I have time I might add a webcam online for the event.

Flack and icbrkr wrestle with the Nintendo Vs. cabinet, both inside and out.

Even when someone's reaching in there to grope its innards, this machine is a thing of beauty.

Kitties roam freely through the house (and sleep freely too). I was especially looking forward to meeting little Stripe, the miracle kitty.

While icbrkr wrestles with the R-Zone, Flack showed me Ms. Pac-Man on his new, colossal-screen-sized cell phone.

Flack is equally at home altering his beast or chilling out with some of the terrible games in the Torture Tournament.

To my horror, Mr. Flibble stowed away in my bag and began playing with the cat toys and the Harvest Moon dog.

Mr. Flibble makes the rounds just before I head home.

Stay tuned for more!

It's good to see Mr. Flibble doing well. I hope he's been behaving! :) I can understand him playing with the cat toys. Since my cats have departed he's been spoiling himself rotten playing with their old toys.

Definetly was fun but too bad I really didn't get any pictures - I was too busy playing Mr. Host. We did get the Vs. machine working the next morning!
