Welcome back, everyone!
Man, these last few days have been pretty tough. Anyway. I realise today is Friday... but I felt like posting my new games regardless.
Amazon sent me Spy vs Spy (£5.92) and Carve (£5.07) on Xbox. Both rather average games. Infact, Spy vs Spy is very disappointing. I really thought I would enjoy it, too.

Simply Games dispatched Robocod: James Pond II (£4.23) on PSX and Zoo Keeper (£11.04) for the DS. That puzzle game is unbelievably addictive!

And I bought from Gameseek Nintendogs (Lab & Friends) and Kirby Canvas Curse for DS. Both excellent games, again. And those US cases are very nice!

Shining and the Holy Arc for saturn complete: $4
The sega 3 pack that came with the purchase of a new saturn. Sealed.:$4
and lastly a strategy guide for SW: Shadows of the Empire for N64: 53¢
Does anyone know anything about the Saturn 3 Pack? Ive never seen them in a long box before, but I dont want to open a sealed game. (Plus, I got those 3 with the saturn I already own)

I just happened to be in a charity shop the other day and I saw they had a few Megadrive games. I bought Desert Strike for £2
Then on wednesday I was in town so I popped into Gamestation and saw they had a bogof on megadrive games. I got Xmen and Ms Pacman both complete for £5.
Not great, but they're cheaper than usual.

Just got back from what is probably the biggest annual flea market in Virginia. They didn't have muct gaming stuff and what they had was insanely high. But I managed to get: Adv. of Kid Kleets, SNES(10$, only got because it's an R7, my sencond R7 in a month) and tennis-e 25 cents. Spend about 8 hours there and thats all I got and a few heroclix figures for 50 cents a piece.

Armored Core 3
Everblue 2
Gungrave
Midway Arcade Treasures Vol 1
Persona 2
Psi Ops
Sly Cooper 2 (now that the Greatest Hits version is out, the non-GH version is only $20 new :D )
Zone of the Enders Second Runner (had to order a complete copy from amazon since Gamestop.com fucked me and only sent the disc)
Special ordered F.D.18 from Gamecrazy ($20 new vs $40 new on ebay). Apparently my local Gamecrazy has had a copy for like...ever..and they just transfered it out to another store the day I finally fucking go. God. Damnit. Still, a $6 markup ain't that bad if it means I don't have to hunt for it anymore. God damn do I want to play that game :(
Not a bad week for games overall, other than my wife not letting me buy anything else until October :(

I've been Ebaying for classics and got 3 this week.
1) Kirby's Avalance (SNES) ~$5.25USD after shipping
Recently I've been working on getting puzzle games for my SNES. They are generally cheep, and have great replay value. Multi-player is also great.
2) Sonic 3D (Saturn) ~$5.50USD after shipping
Awesome. Controls suck, music is odd, but this game is fun as crap, even though it's slow and not like the original Sonic games. If only it had a save point...
3) Bust-A-Move 2 (Saturn) ~$6.99USD after shipping
I had bought this game before and was sent the PAL version after it said in the auction it wasn't. Oh well, I'll have my American and PAL versions. Bust-A-Move rocks!

I recently found an awesome thrift shop right across from where I work. and have been having awesome luck finding stuff there for the last week.
the n64s were 5$ each (all tested and work)
n64 games were 3$
zelda
wave race
diddy racy
glover
mario kart 64
the dreamcast was 4$ and it had ready to rumble 2 inside it (no hookups but it works)
space harrier is aparently a multi-lingual version, was 5$
the atari games and the two famicom games came from ebay (yay for 1$ auctions badly labeled)
"pokemen" green and red were 1$, as was tetris and the seller tossed in bomberman for free!
the super joy was 4$, no battery cover...and the clear part looks like something was broken off on the end..does anyone know what went there (maybe an ac adaptor?)
overall a pretty nice haul.
oh and since dp was down last week I got :

at the same store.
yay for cheap classis!

Great haul on the Japanese Pokemon games... if that Pocket Monsters Green is the legit Japanese version then you have a buried treasure on your hands.
Better than my cheap Inuyasha set. Damn.

nope, the japanese blue is the "rare" one
green is the same as the us blue.
i've been looking for blue for quite some time.
as a side note the green does have a mew in the active team at the very least.

Yeah, you're right. However, some people are thoroughly convinced that the Green version is OMG RARE!!!!1. Pretty cool that it came with a Mew.
Excellent find nonetheless.

green looks nice on the shelf next to blue and red at the very least, but yeah blue isn't very easy to find..if I understand correctly it was a magazine exclusive prize or something simmilar. i've never seen one on ebay (then i've never looked particullarlly hard)

hmm cant you get mew buy catching missing number and renameing it,hmm i wonder if missing number is in green version...... anyway i got super mario brothers original nes game sealed in the box $5.99 :)

if you do the missingno glitch very very rarely in blue(us) a random mew will attack you.
theres another "trick" to get mew but it invovles bringing up a menu after a trainer talks to you, and before he "battles" you.
if you do it on a certain trianer then fly to a certain place it litches the next battle, depending on which trainer you do it to you can fight differnt mon in one grass field.
I know too much..I'm gonna shut up now ;-)
nice find on mario sealed though!

Green is frequently bootlegged (like every other Pokemon game); I've seen a few on ebay, authentic copies of it are few and far between on there.
Back on topic: great catch on the sealed Super Mario Bros., especially if you collect sealed games.
