Well it took a while , but I have finally taken advantage of DP's Room o' Doom feature. I remember Joe asking me a while back about why I had not used it yet. And my only answer was that I am a bit lazy when it comes to these things :P Well here ya go Joe.....

Nice Room! I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only one on DP who doesn't have a room like this...

The Sharp NES controller look so cute on top of the TV. ;)

Oh yeah, you can bring that Contra Arcade machine over anytime, and leave it here... :D

Awesome room sir, besides, I couldn't say bad things about someone who has Prime as his avatar.

Forum member and my best friend "tynstar" gave me that very nice corner unit a few years back.

Very pretty room, captain! I love your posters and your shelves are beautiful.

LOL @ the "some loose nes carts" comment. There are probably more games there than in my whole collection!

If you ever come across the pond and are in the area , you are more than welcome to come visit. :)

Me and another forum member (tynstar) have been trying to get a retro gaming meet going for a while now. If we ever get details finalized , we will be posting about the date and place. ;) (hopefully end of this year / early next)

Very Nice Captain.
It just never ceases to amaze me when i see pics of you and/or Tynstars stuff.

Good luck with your meet too.
I have been meaning to get some pics up myself.
But i would have to tidy up a bit first.

Nice collection dude, I just put my collection up a week or 2 ago (from my old house).

Your collection looks sweet (and you have a house to spread things out :) ).

I really like your (NES) collection, especially the boxed consoles + grails and how you've set it all up!!

By the way, where is that display from that looks like a NES (the one on top of the TV in the first pic)? I think you mentioned it elsewhere before, but I forgot where. ;)

Again, great collection man!!

The box on top of the black entertainment center is from the GBA sp classic series that was released a while back now. The contents of the box included scratch and sniff stickers , 5 t- shirts and several other goodies.

I want to set up a gaming / entertainment center in the NES library room which would center around the combo tv.

Maybe in a few weeks.....

Looks good finally ;) Just wait one day I will unveil my room.

When are you going to finally bring the Metroid standee over?

The only way it would look better is if you replaced the Nintendo stuff with Sega stuff. :D

I am sooooo sad every time I see a room of doom here! I am a MINT and SEALED collector and I have over 750 games that I desperatly want to play and display, but I have it all in boxes (lined with garbage bags) in storage (climate and humidity controlled)! It looks like I will not have the time or money to get a house untill my girl gets out of school and it all will continue to sit there untill then. I can only imagine what it must be like to have all that stuff at your fingertips at all times. WOW

What's that gamecube controller with the keyboard? I've never seen one like that before. What's its use?

ASC II controller. Basically it is used to play Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 for the Gamecube. Let me tell you.... It comes in handy when typing out messages to other players online ;) I have the box and manual for it as well 8-)

They were in the 70 - 150 dollar price range for a while back when PSO was really popular. But I think you can pick them up cheaper now.

@ Texas... I feel your pain man. I do enjoy having all of the games out and ready to play.
