Mods - If there is anything about this topic that is out of bounds, just let me know. Also, if it belongs in a different forum, feel free to move it.

I've come in posession of a 44" wide HP Designjet Inkjet Plotter (it's been shoe-horned into my home office...). I will be using it as part of my business to create large maps for clients, but I've done some research and have found that I can get many different types of media for this, including adhesive-backed rolls.

I plan on building a MAME cabinet at some point, and am planning on using this thing with the adhesive paper to create some sideart and possibly marquee art (on acetate paper), at least until I could afford the topline art and printing. I know that inkjet is not the "Cadillac" method for creating these types of graphics, but it is considerably cheaper, and the plotter output looks pretty darn good to me, at least on the maps that I create.

So I figured I'd see if there was any interest in here from someone building a cabinet on a budget and looking for some sideart or a marquee. Price would be negotiable and reasonable (especially for the first couple people, while I learned), and I would consider doing it on trade as well. You would need to send me the image and specs, and make sure it is high enough resolution to be blown up.

Contact me offline, or respond in here if interested, or if you have any thoughts.

You can get some pretty good results with those printers. That's what I printed my marquee on, and it looks pretty darn good, especially behind Plexi.
