Hah, Secret of Evermore was only memorable in that it was a stinking pile of shit with some flashy graphics and a nice setting. :)

Also, I find it funny when people refer to games with zero role playing elements as "Role Playing Games". By most peoples' criteria, Star Tropics isn't half the RPG that Super Mario Brothers 3 is :)

Tangent: Man, did anyone else just flat out love King Arthur's World? If you had a mouse, that was the game to have, man. Screw Mario Paint, it was all about King Arthur's World.

Without slamming it too hard, I did find the entire writeup to be littered with errors on damn near every other line...but it was also quite nostalgia inducing. Page 2 really took me back to high school when we'd fake sick and then after the parents went to work we'd sneak to the gamestore to pick up our preorders (hello Donkey Kong Country, Street Fighter II, and Mortal Kombat II). :)

Good times, good times. Man, what I wouldn't give to be 16 again (insert obligatory "so I could nail 17 year old girls and say I like older women" joke). Flipping burgers, mowing lawns, sleeping at school, and playing games late into the night. Good times, good times.
