28 bucks at blockbuster. knowing the game is an embaressment to the industry and that it would probably serve a purpose only if i had some kind of apocalyptic sausagefest at my house..is it hard enough to find to justify a purchase or two?

I would say why not, I eventually wouldn't mind to pick up a copy just for the reason to have a copy

Well, there are other reasons to buy the game other than the horribly pointless trivia and boobies.
If you guys didn't know, it gut pulled off the shelves because one of the models was under 18. Making the copies possibly... worth something? I could see sealed ones going for a pretty penny down the road, perhaps like the Xbox GTA San Andreas AO versions.
Just make sure there aren't any... stains on the case, eh?

I see one for both PS2 and Xbox in every store around here. Usually ~$30 used or so.

Has this ever been truthfully confirmed? Because if it is true then nobody's ever told my local EBWorld and Gamestop since they both have the game in stock.

A temporary injunction was issued but it was lifted literally less than a week later. The game is still widely available at various online sites and even retailers like Fry's. Doubt it will ever be worth much since the game is really poor.

They were pulled and then re-issued out. In other words they were taken off the shelves until the lawsuit was over and then put back out when the action was dropped.

Has anybody else noticed how slowly this game has dropped in value. BMX XXX was down to $15 almost instantly, but this thing has been $30 for ages now. Maybe the perceived rarity and quasi-recalled status have make people think its rare and kept values artifically high. Or maybe guys like tits.

Does anyone know which girl was underage? I ask not to be a perv, but to see whether she was taken out on the reissue.

These games were released in such heavy quantitys, that i can't really see them being worth a lot in the future. You may get a small short term price bump due to high-demand, like with GTA:San Andreas - But once that cools down, you will the simple reality of supply and demand will set in. A game like San Andreas AO Edition, with millions of copies sold, and a perennial #1 on the "Top Sales" chart for months - Simply won't be a collectors item in the future.
The best parralel i'd say would be Mike Tyson's Punchout for the NES. With the re-issue being a harder find then the original.

It wasn't a standard 'reissue', it was more of a 'put these games in the back room until we tell you what to do with them--OK, put them back out' kind of thing.

Technically, wouldn't this mean that anyone owning this game could be arrested for owning child-pornography?
Reminds me of a story i once heard of a 16 year old girl who send some naked pictures of herself to some on-line friends (apparently including some undercover FBI agent who was monitoring chat rooms). She was arrested and charged with producing and distributing child-pornography x_x

No, Kakuto Chojin was actually just never re-released. Once that left the floor, it NEVER came back. It helped that it sucked so bad that really no one noticed or cared. I know they said they were going to clean it up and re-release it, but to the best of my knowledge that never happened.

I think it's more because there were a lot more copies of BMX XXX made than The Guy Game.

I'm surprised you think it's "rare"... the fact that you see two of them in your Blockbuster should be the first tip. I see this game in at least half of the game stores in my area, usually priced right around $25.
Answer: don't waste your money.

If you want boobies that bad than just buy a porno for the same price and you get to see more!!! OXM rated it 2 or 2.5 out of 10.

Just go out and buy yourself a copy of "Barely Legal" and save yourself $20.

uncommon was probably a better term. i don't see the game much, especially since the psuedo-pull went into effect. blockbuster also had a gradius 3+4, i'm just guessing they were former rentals everyone forgot about and began rotting behind forty copies of Syphon Filter: Omega Strain and a bunch of sports games.

Hentai games get imported all the time Japan to USA but I wonder if this game, along with others of the similar like, have some demand from Japanese Xbox users?

I was also wondering about this game. I picked up a sealed copy for $50.00 strictly for collector purposes. I have the game's vids on my xbox. Here are some articles I ran across on gamespot.com and about.com. Hopefully this will put the rumors to rest:

Game Over for the Guy Game
For those of you fortunate enough to never have been exposed to The Guy Game, it was a collection of mini-games and puzzles that, when beat, allowed you to see, hold on to your seats, topless women. Think of it as Girls Gone Wild except a lot more mild and with a lot of button pressing. Well, the rumors are true, according to their own website, The Guy Game has been banned, due to the inclusion of an underage model. For those of you who frequent this kind of material, this is the same crime that the Girls Gone Wild creator was jailed for. So, defenders of decency, both in terms of morality and quality gaming, rejoice, The Guy Game has left the building.

Now, it appears as though the temporary holding order on the sale of the game has become quite permanent. On The Guy Game Web site, Top Heavy states, "The rumors are true! The most controversial video game ever created - The Guy Game - is no longer available!"
