This system orignally came from EA in a lot of playstation debugging systems I bought. I was familiar with the blue playstations but not this system so I'm not sure how it works. It does power up and must be rare. PM an offer if you are interested. I'm not looking for much and I'd prefer paypal or you can pick it up if you are in the Los Angeles area. I'd rather not post it on Ebay. Feel free to post more info if you know how it works. (The standard saturn cables are not included)

if I'm not mistaken it's half of Cross CartDev Saturn. In either case you may need the Dev box that sits under the saturn as shown below... Does it also have the rotary region switch on the same side as VCD (VirtualCD) switch?

the cable hanging out in front connect to the Dev box and there's buffer RAM cart that goes into the cart slot that also connected to Dev box. The VCD port is for the connection to Mirage VCD unit. That is virtual CD unit with HDD and it emulate the CD - hence you can get away with burning CD-R with each build...

thx dj989 - I don't see any other switches except the ones you see in the picture on the vcd plate. Based on your info it looks like this system was part of development package. What do you think I should ask for it? thx

based on what I paid for fully boxed ex-Konami set, I'd say some where around $199-250 would be the good bet...

I got the 2nd set minus packaging for almost nothing - 1800 yen but paid fair bit for the fully boxed set...

I have 8 saturns inc prototype and two CartDev, Sonic, Skeleton, V-saturn on top of modified PAL/JP ones... and that's after I sold out three saturn. :D
