Hey guys, I created a SNES forum http://snesworld.hyperboards.com/ SNES World. You can talk about SNES with fellow fans and also write reviews, faq's, and submit codes. I know there isn't much there right now but with the help of you guys, this could become a very active forum. Also, you don't have to be a SNES fan to join, you can talk about PS2, Xbox, GC, collecting too! I'm looking for mods at the moment so if your interested I'd suggest joining right away! Thanks in advance to anyone who joins, or even looks at the forum. I look forward to seeing you there!

I know another forum where people can talk about not only SNES, but PS2, Xbox, GC and collecting too. Now, what was the name of that forum ...

I think I know that place too....
But my forum, is mostly about SNES, and this one is not

Sounds like you're just spliting hairs to me. You may intend it to be an SNES focused forum, but this is a classic gaming forum and look at the amount of time we spend talking about the next-gen.
All i can say is DP 4 Life.

I like expanding the horizons. Gives me a chance to meet new people, and get to know others better. Keeping to one message board can became tiresome, thats why Im currently active in 4, maybe 5 boards.

Awesome that the very first post i read is someone chewing someone else out.
Keep spreading the word on the SNES site man. Good luck with it :)

Actually it is alot like this site but has a better collection tool than DP but doesn't have a rarity guide.
You guys really shouldn't be so gung-ho with being a member at only one site.
It is pretty narrowminded.
Alot of the info that graces the pages of this site comes from another game site. Be it IGN, another forum, or a press release.

I'm active on one board only, this one! I have nothing against others talking about other sites, but
1. The focus on the SNES of the SNES site is too restricted for my taste; and if everything goes as stated then the Q is indeed why I should frequent another site when I have SNES topics and much more (older systems and current ones) on the DP site.
2. The RFGeneration site is a pale, pale comparison to the DP site. It doesn't even come close. This goes from the number of users, quality of discussions, knowledgable participants about various systems and about issues of the game industry, to great tips and hints about collecting, preserving older games and great deals of current games.
In short: I don't see the slightest reason to frequent another site.

I didn't think this post went thru. The pages never loaded for me. So i couldn't edit myself. Oh well should have done that before hand.
But either way you guys do have some valid points and maybe chewing someone out was a bit harsh for me to say.
And yea RFGen does pale in comparison with members and the such but it does have a totally different "vibe" than this site. Thats probably another reason why i frequent multiple sites.
In anycase it just seems like everytime i check back here there is animoscity of some sort going on or something is down for one reason or another. Maybe i think that because i don't come in enough? I dunno.
I'll just keep my mouth shut from now on unless i have soemthing of value to say.
Which reminds me good to see things are mostly back to normal here.
Hopefully the site keeps getting knocked offline. I need to update my collection.
