Nintendogs is great!! So are real, living, breathing pets. So how do they stack up against each other?
I have compared my virtual Welsh Corgi, Spock against my flesh-and-blood tabby, Sasha.

Spock fits in my pocket and I can take him anywhere, even work and school. Sasha definitely does not fit in my pocket

I can turn Spock off and put him away if I have to

I can clean Spock's poop up with a mere tap. Sasha's has to be scooped up and thrown out and it smells

Feeding Spock is as easy as pushing a button. I have to clean out Sasha's bowl, open the can of stinky icky looking food and scoop it into her bowl.

Spock responds to my voice almost immediately and can catch a Frisbee in the air.

Spock brings me gifts like tissue boxes and empty juice bottles.

Spock doesn't try to eat my parakeets or chew my controller cords.

Sasha gives me genuine love and rubs up against me and she's soft and cuddly. Spock is just an image on the screen with no geniune emotions.

OK, so Spock is a lot easier to take care of, but Sasha is real and she gives me lot's of loving and I can actually physically pat her and her soft cuddly fur. So I have the best and worst of both worlds :)

Also...what is the deal with the excessive pissing? I walk my corgi and he pees at LEAST 3 times! Does anyone else's dog piss this much?

Of all the things you expect to hear about a video game...

Imagine even 5 years ago hearing this? LOL!

Man, that's a keen idea for a book. "From Pikachu to Shih Tzu in just five years."

The only REAL way to do this is by caged deathmatch.

Two pets enter, one pet leaves.

My dog doesn't pee that much during our walks, but for some reason he sits down and scratches himself AT LEAST a DOZEN times, which makes walks take FOREVER. I know he doesn't have fleas, because I bathe him every other day and his status has never gone below "normal". The other times he'll just stop and either sit or stand in place for no particular reason.

Any ideas?

Or we could do that pricey pet cloning service!

That wouldn't work. Spock can't fight back because he's in the DS. So the DS would just sit there on the ground, or I could get a pedestal for it, but it would just sit there. And Sasha would just sit there, cuz she's a very lazy cat. She'd maybe sniff the DS. The only way she'd win would be if she actually lied on top of the DS and that counted as a pin. LMAO

Without food, water or a power cord...who would outlast the other?
